Material:Bricks

Manufacture Process:

1.Clay Preparation: mix all materials with water 2. Molding the Clay: to have same shape and size

3. Drying the Bricks: dry the bricks in the kiln.

Reasons: 1. less cracking in fired bricks with less water content. 2. less fuel is needed when firing.

4. Firing the Bricks

STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS: How it works.Principles -The columns with concrete footings support a long canopy with internal downpipes in the middle of the columns,collecting rain from canopy.

Building system & process: -The columns and canopy are made of steels they are supported by concrete footings.And C-shape steels hold the canopy roof Reasoning behind system choice: -Concrete is more sustainable while having compression than extension.SO it was chosen for making the footings.

Economic implications of decisions: -Concrete is cheap and easy to get.However steel needs to have more procedures to get this shape and color.
