Constructing Environment A02 FULL SIZE 1. Structure: The graph has shown on the right which is the my design of roof. .

It is the hip-and-valley roof with two shed roofs.

Because of hip-and-valley roof owns relative compact, solid appearance to a structure.so that it is a good idea when considering in the design process.

2. Material: 1. Real Design:Asphalt Shingle 2. Model Design:Paste Board(White) Here the whole model shade was constructed only by Paste Board and gluewater. For the real roof I choose asphalt shingle.This is the most commonly used of all roof materials, because it’s the least expensive and requires a minimum of skill to install.

The two sections of the main roof not be the same width.For the deck A and B,I design shed roof .

*The shed style roof is one of the cheapest roofs builder can build. *That offers some protection from the elements while allowing easy access(as shown left).

*The long roof can also help protect the house interior from excessive sunlight at certain times of the day. *The long slope of the roof makes it a good choice for use with skylights or solar panels for alternative energy systems

Constructing Environment A02 FULL SIZE 5. Function 1.For my design,water drainage is the biggest advantage hip roofs have over other roofing designs. Because all four sides are angled, there is virtually no chance for water to stand anywhere on the surface of the roof.

2.Most important one is each being built with practicality in mind while being aesthetically pleasing
