Marketing & Communications Coordinator Employer: CEMS, The Global Alliance in Management Education Location: Jouy-en-Josas (78), France Contract: Full time CDI Start Date: 2 May 2016 Deadline for applications: 31 March 2016 As part of the Marketing & Communications Department, CEMS is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator. This position will report directly to the Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on various communication objectives. About CEMS: Founded in 1988, CEMS is a global alliance of 30 leading business schools and universities, over 70 multinational companies, and 4 NGOs that together offer the CEMS Master’s in International Management (MIM). The CEMS MIM is a pre-experience postgraduate degree open to high-calibre, internationally minded, multilingual students enrolled in a Master's in Management (MiM) program at one of the CEMS member schools. Currently one of the hottest post-graduate degrees in Europe, the MiM is rapidly becoming the new standard in business education globally. Your main missions: You will serve as the "voice of the organization" creating, editing, and producing materials to put the organizational marketing plan into action with the input from internal stakeholders in charge of the academic programme, corporate partnerships, information systems, and overall strategy. Responsibilities include: • Develop & implement communications strategy on the corporate website and social media channels in close cooperation with our 30 partner schools and their affiliated student clubs as well as the student board and alumni local committees across the globe. • Create and improve upon existing content for a range of publications, including: newsletters, presentations, corporate communications materials (brochures/magazines/videos) and provide event assistance. • Act as a liaison with outside vendors and consultants. • Some international travel will be required. Your profile: The CEMS Head Office is a team with a committed, entrepreneurial spirit in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, disciplined, and collaborative on an international level, and adapt well to change. As a member of the marketing department, the successful candidate will need to excel at persuasive writing/storytelling and be able to adhere to precise branding guidelines and tight deadlines. A willingness to travel internationally will also be necessary. Competencies • Excellent oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail; • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to multitask and work autonomously; • Proven capacity to deliver high quality results, while adhering to tight deadlines; • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure across organizational functions; • Knowledge of the Asian Market, including social media channels like Weibo, YouKu, Renren is a plus Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism or Marketing, Master degree preferred; • Business background with 3-5 years’ experience in marketing communications: social media management, direct to consumer marketing, copywriting, public relations, etc.; • Proven intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), basic knowledge of Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat); • Experience working with creative agencies and studios; • Native English speaker or equivalent.
