Job Offer for CEMS Corporate Relations Manager Asia/Pacific, September 2013 (part time) About CEMS CEMS, a strategic alliance of 28 top business schools, 70 multinational companies and 4 NGOs, is recruiting a part-time Corporate Relations Manager for the Asia/Pacific region. The position will be based at the CEMS Head Office, on the campus of HEC Paris (Jouy-enJosas, France), in a multicultural team of 14 people. Mission and responsibilities The principal mission of the Corporate Relations Manager Asia/Pacific is: • to prospect and approach new potential corporate partners from the Asia/Pacific region, in close cooperation with our six regional member schools’ corporate relations and marketing managers (in China, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Singapore and Japan) • to plan and support the implementation of a number of regional and global benchmarking/career services events every year, engaging different stakeholders of the CEMS Alliance • to activate subsidiaries of corporate partners headquartered outside Asia/Pacific in contributing to CEMS activities in the region, in close cooperation with CEMS schools • to manage, in a second phase, the customer relationship with newly acquired CEMS Corporate Partners, with a focus on engagement in the CEMS Master’s in International Management programme (to be implemented year 2015 and following) The mission is carried out in very close cooperation with the two other CEMS Corporate Relations Managers in charge of the same mission with other geographical focus, and under the supervision of the CEMS Secretary General in charge of overall Corporate Relations. The position implies regular travelling to Asia/Pacific and within Europe to joint events. Your profile The applicant should speak and write English to a high professional standard. Knowledge in a major Asian language will be required, ideally in Chinese and/or Japanese. Knowledge of French will be a plus. The applicant should be computer literate (Pack Office, email, web). A minimum of two to three years of previous professional experience is required, ideally in HR, customer relationship management, career services, marketing, sales and/or events management. A Master’s degree is required. The successful applicant will be customer-oriented with a teamwork mindset and be at ease working independently. Flexibility and adaptability to diverse cultural environments are a key qualification.
