Started at Deloitte: 2015 Studies: University of St. Gallen, Master in Quantitative Economics and Finance / CEMS Master’s in International Management "Given my academic background, I was looking for an employer where I could make use of my quantitative capabilities as well as business skills. I chose Deloitte because it is one of the few companies operating at the forefront of analytics. Additionally, I particularly like that Deloitte is very international, with English as the working language. My first project in Deloitte was a complex M&A carve-out. When Deloitte entered into the project, we had a very tight timeline requiring both creative ideas and hard work. Therefore, it certainly helped that we had a great team spirit and could count on each other’s support. Working alongside experienced consultants was incredibly beneficial for my personal learning and allowed me to quickly apply my understanding to the topic. Recently, we celebrated the achievement of an important milestone with a nice dinner out where everybody felt proud to have succeeded together as a team.
