Brittany and Austin were both students at Cabot High School. Austin was a senior and Brittany was a sophomore. Back then, prank calls were really popular. One evening, Brittany received a prank call from whom she thought was a friend of hers. Little did she know that from that prank call she would meet the love of her life.
"Our wedding day was more perfect than we ever could have imagined. The length of time that we had to plan our wedding was a little over a year. You would think that time would pass by slowly, but boy were we wrong."

"My mom worked countless hours to make sure that our wedding day was perfect. The weather was great. It wasn’t too hot or too cold. For those of you who know Arkansas weather, that is hard to come by. We had all of our close family and friends there to celebrate with us. We would like to say that it was a huge party filled with dancing, food, and great music. If we could relive that day one more time, there is nothing that we would change about it. It was the best day of our lives."
A PerfectwithDay Alda Because "Nice" Matters Each wedding affair that passes through our gates is a moment in time that will always be remembered, and we take that very seriously. I was raised to believe that being nice mattered, and I still cling to that dictum. Actually, in this digital age, it is more important to me than ever. Within a framework of a wedding, there are many opportunities to show an important legacy of nice. From the moment of engagement, friends and family bestow the couple gifts with showers and parties. A hand written note of thank you for the gift and a handwritten note to the host of the shower or party should be a top priority. Most important are the thank you notes…handwritten of course. A personalized note of appreciation for a gift is typically sent within two weeks of the party or gift. A grace period of writing thank you notes after the wedding is six weeks.
If you start the job of writing as soon as a gift arrives, you will find this important task quite gratifying. As the wedding invitations go out, always include and err on the side of being nice. You will never regret inviting someone, but you might regret not inviting should they get their feelings hurt. They can always decline, but you have taken the high road and offered a hand of kindness. Favors are given to guests as a thank you for attending the wedding. Whether they travel from near or far, a take home favor that is not going to end up in the trash is the goal. Some of the sweetest favors have been handmade and most memorable…not necessarily the most expensive. Pinterest is full of ideas for thoughtful and meaningful favor ideas for your guests to leave with a treasure in their hand… because “nice” matters.
