FEATURED HOMES
LISBON, PORTUGAL
The main house is designed in the traditionalist style called “Português Suave,” which displays the elements of the traditional Portuguese architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries. Elements such as red tile roofs, stone corners, and wooden pergolas supported by simple cylindrical columns lend the building a sense of intimacy. In 1942, Lisbon Airport was inaugurated, and the construction of the houses began. This single-family house was built between 1945 and 1947, by Manuel Temudo Baptista, owner of the company with the same name. In 1959, the house was owned by Maria do Carmo Costa Pinto Nery until the summer of 1975, when it was acquired by the current owner. This luxury V8 villa, on Avenida Almirante Gago Coutinho in Lisbon, is completely remodeled, with 1,000 sq. m. of land, two covered garages, a garden and a swimming pool. The covered area of 613 sq. m. is divided into 2 floors, basement and attic, 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Situated just minutes from Lisbon airport, with excellent access to the center of Lisbon, it is move-in ready, either for the purpose of living or for company headquarters. 40
