Hi my Chavez Grizzlies! My name is Francesca Palo and I am your President for the 2022 to 2023 term! Swati has been working very hard on this newsletter and I am so happy how it has turned out. Swati and I work alongside each other to plan and run bigger events such as fundraisers, interclubs, and service nights. I appreciate every single one of you for working so hard and actively being a part of Key Club! Members are the most important aspect of our club as a whole. See you guys soon!
President 22-23
Hi everyone! My name is Swati Charan and I am one of your Vice Presidents for the 22-23 term! I am the editor of this issue! I am also the person who works alongside our President to help her in planning events and run meetings. I also plan all of our club service projects and events along with managing the Google Classroom! I help any of my fellow board members if they need it as well! I want to make this year a great year so that means assisting, supporting, and improving our Key Club in any way I can. I hope to get to know everyone and look forward to the road ahead! Don’t be afraid to reach out to me!

RTC was a lot fun! It was an amazing experience that I would definitely love to do again. It was nice to get to know my fellow key club members and make new friends from our division and from others. I got to learn more about the history of key club and participate in helpful leadership workshops. Overall, it was an amazing time!

CesarOur first Spirit Training Conference was pretty cool! It was great to learn chants for this year!
Although it may not have turned out as it was originally planned, I still definitely felt the spirit and had lots of fun. Overall, it was a great experience and a insight on what kind of spirit the Grizzlies have. I cannot wait for the next spirit session!

Recently, at Region Training Conference, we were able to give Key Club a first look at our phone charms and they were a big hit! During the planning process, we were originally going to settle for key chains but did not think that the idea would be original enough or stand out to individuals. However, with enough brainstorming we thought of phone charms! After buying the materials, our President and both the Vice Presidents stayed after school working hard on creating cute phone charms that would stand out to other key clubbers. It was an enjoyable time making the phone charms as we got to make conversation and jam out to music in our faculty advisor, Ms. Tran’s classroom! Selling the phone charms also turned out great as we got to meet so many new key clubbers and make friends with them while selling the phone charms. Many of them were very interested, which made us happy. The phone charms fundraiser turned out very well, which I am so proud of!
