he task of evangelism depends on us, not on the people who need to hear it. To put it bluntly, simply, lost people don’t know they’re lost. It’s up to us, God’s family of believers, to show them “the map” and guide them home. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 explains, “Even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. unbelievers. The god of this age, the thief, the usurper, blinds the minds and confuses the understanding of people. They literally cannot see the light of the Gospel. This is the set up – the problem that anyone interested in evangelizing the lost must overcome. So, we must ask ourselves, how do we rip off the blindfolds from their hearts? What can we do to open the eyes of their hearts so they can see and believe?
