The Essentials Program offers free Academic and Career Readiness classes to those who function academically at or below the 8th grade level and who wish to improve their reading, writing, math, and computer literacy skills. Our two-year program allows students the chance to enroll in multiple career pathways. Career pathways classes serve to introduce potential career opportunities and earn students a Continuing Education certificate upon completion. Pathway classes have fees associated.

Enrollment Process

• Call and schedule an interview with the program coordinator

• Achieve valid scores on the CASAS placement test

• Present a picture ID and Social Security card

Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Classes are offered from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
