Automation Technician

The Automation Technician program was developed in direct response to industry demand for people with broad skills and knowledge in areas including digital electronics and process control, and who also have programming skills in areas such as PLCs, Robotics, and SCADA systems.

Electronic Vehicle Technician

In 2015 there were 580,000 EVs sold worldwide. In 2021 there were 3.5 million EVs sold, and the projection for sales in 2030 is 40 million EVs. This exponential growth in EV sales has led to an unprecedented demand for technicians who are able to repair and service these vehicles and install and maintain residential and commercial charging stations.

Electronics Technician

The Electronics Technician is an award winning program with interactive curriculum using text, video, audio, 2D and 3D animations and laboratory simulation software. This program covers technical support and service in the production, installation, operation and repair of electrical equipment and systems in the field of consumer, commercial and industrial electronics.

Electromechanical Technician

This program provides a complete introduction to electronics and electromechanical systems. This program is often of interest to those who want to study electronics with an emphasis on mechanical systems and it covers mechanical topics outside of a typical electronics program, like industrial control devices, DC/ AC motors and control circuits, transformers, analog and digital transducers, industrial process control and PLCs.

Plc Technician

The PLC Technician course provides a basic introduction to PLCs, fundamentals of PLC programming and focuses on the practical applications of using them in a plant or manufacturing system. This program includes PLCLogix 500, a lab simulator that emulates the Rockwell Logix 500 series PLC control software and enables you to design, run, test, and debug ladder logic programs and simulate the operation of real-world PLC applications.

Plc Technician Ii

The PLC Technician II Certificate program provides a more advanced study of PLCs including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA) and advanced programming languages. The program includes PLCLogix 5000, a lab simulator based on the Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000 programming applications and enables you to design, run, test and debug ladder logic programs and simulate the operation of real-world PLC components.

Robotics Technician

The Robotics Technician training program introduces the concepts of industrial robots used in a plant or manufacturing system. The primary focus is on automated manufacturing processes and includes a combination of multimedia learning resources and a robotics simulation software package to allow for the programming, testing, and debugging of robot-control programs.
