The leading companies of the sector will be present in 72nd edition International Fair of Children’s and Young People’s Fashion FIMI, considered one of the most prestigious children’s fashion fairs worldwide will host hundreds companies from the 21st to the 23rd of January 2011, in Valencia (Spain). Among the firms that have already confirmed their participation, highlights the Spanish MAYORAL (CFE’s member), leader in Spain and Portugal and one of the most important companies in Europe will present its brand NEW BORN. Others Spanish companies with an international renown as ADOLFO DOMINGUEZ, CUSTO GROWING or DESIGUAL are taking the opportunity of FIMI to present their collections for Fall/Winter 2011-2012. Without forgetting the presence of companies that are part of the FIMI’s show since years like BÓBOLI, TUC TUC or TUTTO PICCOLO, all members of Children's Fashion Europe. FIMI will also rely on the representation of groups of international renown as CALVIN KLEIN UNDERWEAR, CHLOÉ, TIMBERLAND, BOSS and DKNY. The attendees will see also the collections of IDO and SARABANDA belonging to one of the most recognized Italian companies for the presentation of its total look collections and leading the children's fashion market. The International Fair of Children’s and Young People’s Fashion, FIMI, will take place from January 21 to 23 January 2011, in Valencia (Spain) together with 0-4, International Baby Fair. Last days to register for the most important fashion Fair of Eastern Europe 18,300 trade buyers visited the last edition of Collection Première Moscow (CPM), in September 2010. For its 16th edition, which will take place from the 21st to the 24th of February 2011, Fair organization expects similar participation figures as 2010, when with more than 1,300 brands from 32 countries became the most important Fashion Fair in Eastern Europe. The deadline to register as an exhibitor to the next CPM Fair is December 1st, 2010 9th Children’s Fashion Catwalk at CPM Kids Children’s Fashion Europe offers its members the opportunity to show their collections in the unique European Kids Fashion Catwalk which celebrates in CPM. Companies wishing to participate will get 50% discount and will have the opportunity to promote their brands in one of the most promising markets nowadays. In this edition each firm can choose the number of models they wish to participate with, 6 or 8 models. Whose cost is reduced from €300 to €150 per model for CFE’s members. Collection Première Istanbul reinforces itself as the most important Fashion Fair in Turkey To support European children's fashion and childcare SMEs, Children’s Fashion Europe signed a new collaboration agreement with Collection Première Istanbul (CPI) organization. Collection Premiere Istanbul, CPI, which will take place from 2 to 4 February 2011, reinforces itself as a bridge between Europe, Middle East and Asia markets. And it becomes an useful tool to promote Europe brands in neighbouring countries with a great potential. Thanks to this agreement signed by CFE, its members can benefit from 10% discount of floor price at this International Fashion Fair. An exhibition that shows the collections of Women, Men and children and which coincides with the celebration of International Fashion Week in Turkey to bring together the largest number of visitors. braM project chooses European Children’s Fashion companies that serve as a studio model for their excellent strategy brand th

On December 15 , braM consortium partners will meet in Rome to present the training materials and the software on which will be developed the resulting course of the project. Furthermore, the tutors and companies that will form part of the pilot course will be defined. The project's goal is to create an on-line course addressed to children’s fashion professionals to enhance the brand in children’s fashion SME’s. One of the educational units that make up the course, made by textile institutions and European universities, will raise success stories of European companies that have achieved an optimal brand position. Cases of study - The companies selected The companies from Spain that will be cases of study as a result of an optimal brand strategy in last years are Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Baby (from Tutto Piccolo group), Gioseppo Kids, from footwear sector and Tuc Tuc, which manufactures children’s fashion and childcare items. Companies chose from Italy are Catya, that makes gloves, hats and scarves for children, Decotex which its brands: Detomaso mini, Detomaso Junior y Bimbi Blù and Thomas Hills. Also are going to be part of the project IVR SRL Company, which brands: VARCI - COW y MATTIOLO-ROCCOBAROCCO, Stella Company and VJ Ltd Enterprise with COMIX and ARMANDA POLLI brands. From Greece has been chose following companies: Fragos S.A., whit its marks: Kitten and Defence, Pierre Cardin, Tom Tailor y Mauli, and Mini Raxevsky Company with The Walt Disney Company, Hallmark Cards PLC, Mattel Inc and Sanrio Co. Ltd. Brands. Finland will participate with the brand Kivat from Agtuvi Ky Company; Kuomiokoski Oy, and Nokian Aino ja Reino Oy (Reino y Aino brands) from footwear sector. And finally the retail sector companies Nicky & Nelly, Jesper Junior, and Polarn O. Pyret. will be studied also. Next braM meeting will be held on December 15th of 2010 in Rome. The Italian capital is the head office of one of the project’s partner, CNA Federmoda, Italian National Confederation of Craft and SMEs.

PITTI Bimbo, the most important children’s fashion fair, turn its 72 edition with a new section devoted to new talents in fashion and accessories design Hundreds of international companies will come to Florence (Italy) to show their Autumn-Winter collections 2011-12 from the 20th to 22nd January 2011. Among the participating companies, it should be noted the presence of Il Gufo, Sarabanda and Elsy, all of them members of CFE. New this year: the celebration of Who is Next? Bimbo, a competition dedicated to new talent in children's fashion. The finalists for the clothes category are Paola Bruzzone, Simona Guainia, Francesca Heusser, Lea Paolini and Josiane Strocchi Fabiani and for the accessories category will participate Barbantini Barbara, Grassetti and Elena Michela Tavella.
