A Taste for Art 2024...Oh What a Night!
The results are in and this year's A Taste for Art, CFF's premiere annual fundraiser, was THE BEST one yet! We hosted over 350 attendees High school students from 5 of Delaware's top culinary programs prepared and served exquisite tastings Eighteen artists displayed and sold their unique, original pieces A celebrity chef gave a lively demonstration Experts in bourbon and champagne presented an engaging tasting There was a jazz quartet, a solo saxophonist, choir and dance performance, and so much more! But the most phenomenal aspect was the true purpose of the event, to raise vital funding in support of our mission and programs - and this year we raised $70,000!!
Huge kudos to Steff DiMartine, Laura Bartus, Jen Gallo, and Cassidy Varnum; Event Committee Board Chairs Katy Connolly and Gina Schoenberg, and all the volunteer members of the Event Committee; and the CFF staff members who helped as volunteers or attended as guests!

Recently spotted at Leg Hall...
CFF continues to flex its advocacy muscles!! On Thursday, May 17, a group of CFF staff joined more than 100 other advocates to highlight the importance of high quality early learning experiences. Early Childhood Advocacy Day featured a morning of panels exploring early learning from a variety pf perspectives, remarks by legislative champions Senator Kyle Evans Gay and Senator Laura Sturgeon, and a visit from Lieutenant Governor Bethany Hall-Long The group then gathered on the steps of Legislative Hall for a photo followed by meetings with individual legislators and a group meeting with Governor John Carney Many thanks to all the CFFers who made their voices heard!
