Trip description.
TRIP DAY TO DAY:
Highlight´s: North Atlantic Patagonia, Whales, Sea Lions, Sea Kayak, Diving, Penguins, Guanacos, and Patagonian Steepe.
PUERTO MADRYN The City of Puerto Madryn is bathed by the blue w aters of the Nuevo Gulf, on the East of the Province of Chubut, and it lies on the cliffs shaped by a small plateau that features an impressive perspective of the Atlantic Ocean. The w hale season is one of the attractions that have made this city famous w orldw ide. From June to December, various populations of southern right w hales reach these shores. Visitors may w atch them both on board the boats leaving from Puerto PirĂĄmides and from some natural view points and almost all the beaches bordering the city.
Due to the great deal of SCUBA divers from all round the w orld that choose this city, Puerto Madryn has projected countless artificial reefs in the last few years to be used in the traditional first-time diving experiences. No w onder this city is know n all throughout the country as the Diving Capital of Argentina.

Day 3:
• After breakfats we are going to Peninsula Valdes, for full Day Exploration, with Whale Watching boat in Puerto Piramides and Playa el Doradillo (from Beach). • Hotel. Free lunch & Dinner .

PUERTO DESEADO
Deep blue cold w ater, an endless sea, bays, cliffs and capes are some of the images captured along the 965 km. coast of Santa Cruz. Noisy sea birds colonies captivate nature and adventure lovers in these defying virgin territories. Puerto Deseado is situated in a north-south direction, and one can access by a deviation east in national route Nº 3 to take national route Nº 281 in Fitz Roy. Puerto Deseado is a real paradise for fauna lovers. It is a beach city connected to the Atlantic ocean by an estuary. The main economic activities are fishing and tourism. Today the city has some 9.000 inhabitants. This city is situated to the south of Golf San Jorge marvels w ith is changing colorful topography.

• Open Sea Exploration
Day 5:
• After breackfats, we are going for open sea Navigation to Isla Pingüino. To see Penacho Amarillo Penguin colonies, loghthouse, and sea lions. • Hotel, and Box Lunch is Included. Free Dinner.
• Ria Deseado Exploration
Day 6:
• After breackfast we are going to Explore Puerto Deseado Ria, by boat. To watch toninas, Magallanic Penguins, and Grey Cormorans. Panoramic views and some sea lions. • In the afternoon, we are going to hike on the beach, to 7 caves route. • Hotel Included. Free Lunch and Dinner.

LAND JOURNEY
This journey, w e w ill visit “Bosque Petrificado” and “Hands Caves” The first is the most important fossil deposit in Argentina: Jaramillo Petrified Forest. The aim of the reserve is to preserve the paleontology deposit and divulge the need to preserve and care for future generations and scientific research. This petrified forest is a sample of the process occured in South America during the Devonian period some 350 million years ago, w hen the first terrestrial plants later evolved into the present ones appeared on the planet. The second one, is In the middle of Patagonian steppe, w here guanacos and american ostriches graze, you w ill be surprised at the irruption of the deep canyon of Pinturas river, w here the most spectacular manifestations of regional cave art are kept. All this, w e w ill visit in route to El Calafate, in middle of the Deep Patagonia.

CALAFATE
On the border of the Patagonian steppe, the village is an important tourist destination that has become w orldw ide famous in the last few years. Most circuits tow ards the glaciers, especially, the w ell-know n Perito Moreno Glacier, start in the tow n. The calving of the Perito Moreno and the possibility to sail close to it in order to w atch its w alls from a close distance, or w alk on it by hiring a hiking tour have lured visitors from all over the w orld.

CHALTEN
Considered the Argentinian capital of hiking, several trails start at its very streets and get deep into the impressive surrounding mountains, such as the Fitz Roy, the Poincenot or the very particular Mount Torre. The surroundings of El Chaltén combine the magic of nearby glaciers, the hidden ponds, sky-blue Lake Viedma and the mystical presence of Mount Fitz Roy. From the village, visitors may spot its imposing unmistakable summit, almost always covered by a cloud the Tehuelche people misread as smoke, a slip that gave origin to the native name of the hill: “chaltén”, which stands for “volcano” or “smoking mountain”.

USHUAIA OPTIONAL EXTENCION‌
Talking about the end of the w orld is talking about Ushuaia. This is the southernmost city on the planet. Due to its location near the South Pole, it has approximately eighteen hours of sunlight in the summer, w hereas in the w inter, it only has seven or eight. But this does not prevent tourists from visiting it once and again. The forests, the mountains, the sea, the glaciers and the w ind dominate the landscape. The city is surrounded by Mount Martial to the West and by Mounts Olivia and Cinco Hermanos to the East. The inventiveness of its dw ellers has helped them become adapted to its w himsical geography. The modern buildings and typical constructions of these latitudes give shape to an extremely picturesque and colorful city in the eyes of all visitors. Ushuaia is chosen for the practice of hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, sport fishing and the most spectacular voyages along the Beagle Channel and Lapataia Bay in Tierra del Fuego National Park. The prison at end of the w orld is another tourist attraction.

Since all the tours include overnight stays in hotels, only normal outdoor gear is needed for a daily active hike or trip. Warmer clothes are needed during the months of May to August when temperatures can vary from hot days to cold nights with much cold weather in Patagonia.
