Conditions READ THIS FIRST Please pay attention to the following installation and safety recommendations:
- Read the installation manual before installing this system. - Install the system at a location with adequate drainage. - Inspect all connections after the installation to make sure NO LEAKS occur. - Wait and inspect the system AFTER it’s pressurized. - This RO system unit is for climate controlled INDOOR use ONLY. Exposure to overly high or low temperature ranges will damage the unit. - To preserve the unit avoid using extremely HOT or COLD water. - Install the system under supervision of a professional licensed installer or plumber. - If water pressure is over 80 PSI a pressure regulator MUST be installed on the system. - If water pressure is below 40 PSI a delivery pump or booster pump MUST be installed on the system.
Strongly recommended: SHUT OFF the water supply when the RO system will not be in use for a long period of time.
IMPORTANT Please contact your insurance carrier before installing the RO system. The manufacturer WILL NOT cover ANY water damage under any circumstance. These are our recommendations to avoid possible water damage: The Automatic Shut-Off Valve, Flow Restrictor, and Leak Stop Valve must be installed. The owner/user is obligated to properly maintain the RO system unit when necessary, at least every 2 years. This includes the following: - Replace the O-rings on the filter housings, membrane housing, fittings, and filter cartridges. - Replace any connectors with proper replacement parts. - Replace the filter housings with proper replacement parts. - Replace the filter cartridges with the correct size and length replacements. - Replace the Teflon Tape on ALL connections and fittings.
ALL O-RINGS, FITTINGS, FILTER CANISTERS, AND TEFLON TAPE WEAR OUT AFTER A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME. THE LIFETIME OF THESE COMPONENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH THE WATER QUALITY OF WATER SUPPLIED. THEREFORE, ADEQUATE MAINTENANCE IS NECESSARY AND MANDATORY.
Please contact a professional licensed installer or plumber who meets the requirements of this system. The manufacturer’s insurance carrier WILL NOT cover any loss. Please consult your own insurance carrier for terms and conditions.
WARNING For drinking water application do not use where the water is microbiologically unsafe or of an unknown quality without adequate disinfection before entering this RO system. DISCLAIMER

Introduction You have purchased the finest residential Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System available for your home. When properly maintained this system will provide you with years of great tasting pure drinking water and trouble-free service. Please read the manual section regarding the proper care and maintenance of your new RO System, and experience the taste of exceptional purity. Please make sure to thoroughly read the installation manual and warranty information before any attempt to install this unit in your home. Also, please make sure to inspect the package for any missing components or shipping damages. Installation Notes NOTE! Please make sure your installation location has enough room for the RO System and Water Storage Tank. Estimated time to complete
System Installation: 1-2 hours System Startup: 8-12 hours (We recommend running 4 full tanks of water through your new system before drinking the water. Each tank should take 2-3 hours depending on your home’s water pressure levels.)
Tools Required Before you begin please make sure you have all of the following tools ready to use: - Box Cutter - Phillips-Head Screwdriver - Power Drill (RO Faucet hole and waste line connection) - 1/8” Drill Bit (RO Faucet hole) - 1/4” Drill Bit (RO Faucet hole and waste line connection) - 1/2” Drill Bit (RO Faucet hole) - Adjustable Wrench - Duct Tape (RO Faucet hole) Leak Advisory
On system startup your RO System may leak water This can happen for many reasons:
- Fittings which need to be tightened - Tubing incorrectly installed or cut - Misaligned drain saddle - Teflon Tape incorrectly installed - Water pressure over system capacity - And others If leaks will appear they are most likely to occur during startup, within the first week of use, when disassembling the system for maintenance such as filter changes, or after restarting the system . We recommend preparing for this water while installing your system. We recommend placing the system in a plastic basin to catch any excess water. If you do not have a container the system can sit in, then place some towels underneath it. Once you are reasonably sure the system will not develop leaks you can remove these items. Filter Handling
Any filters included with the system should be left completely sealed until they need to be installed. Avoid touching the filters directly with your hands as this may contaminate your filter leading to undesired water tastes or early filter failure. For information on storing extra filters go to System Maintenance (Page 20). Fitting Sizes
This RO System is made to use ____ size fitting. If your system uses another size of fitting you may need additional adapter equipment.

Tubing Quick Connect Guide The tubing in your RO System uses a Quick Connect locking mechanism to lock the Color Coded Tubing in place. Be careful not to damage your tubing as you unpack it. Make sure to remove any stoppers before attempting to insert tubing.
To Attach Tubing
Push Tubing in straight and level with the Collet. Use force to make sure the Tubing is fully secured.

To Release Tubing
Push and hold the collet in to release the lock while pulling out on the tube.
To Insert Locking Clip We suggest using Locking
Clips on every tube fitting. The Clips slide between the Collet and Fitting.
To Cut Tubing
Make your cuts against a flat cutting surface with a razor blade, or use a handheld cutter. Use water to lubricate where you plan to cut. Any cuts to your tubing must be perfectly straight. Improperly cut tubing may leak water or fail to lock into fittings. NOTE! Wait until all elements of your RO System are in their final locations before cutting your Tubing. Make sure you measure the length you will need before cutting.

Feed Water Adapter Valve CAUTION!
The water supply to the unit MUST be from the COLD WATER LINE. Using HOT WATER will severely damage your RO System. NOTE! If your Cold Water Valve is too old or weak to connect to directly (Option #1) you can connect at the top of the line where the faucet connects (Option #2).
1. Locate the Cold Water Valve underneath the sink and turn it off completely. Next, open the cold water handle on your sink to release any pressure by expelling any existing water. Check to make sure the water has stopped flowing completely before proceeding NOTE! On single-handle faucets the hot water may have to be turned off to prevent hot water crossover. If water still continues to come out of the faucet with the Cold Water Valve turned off, then the main water supply must be turned off as well.

2. As shown beneath, the Feed Water Adapter Valve can be used for 3/8” or 1/2” feed line plumbing.

Make sure your Adapter Valve is in the closed position when installing it.

Simply switch the Adapter Nut (See left image) from one side of the Adapter Valve to the other.

DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE (Use Wrench to Tighten) DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN Next, use an adjustable wrench to secure the Adapter Valve either directly to the Cold Water Valve (Option #1) or further up in the line before the faucet (Option #2).

INCOMING WATER PRESSURE SHOULD NOT EXCEED 80 PSI
