£24 MILLION REBUILD FOR SCHOOL BEGINS

ACTION AROUND THE AREA

Work has begun on the major £24 million refurbishment of North Chadderton School. This is after a previous Labour controlled council cancelled the rebuild of the school at short notice, leaving the school high and dry. Chadderton children will soon be benefitting from world class educational facilities thanks to the hard work of Chadderton Conservative Councillor Jack Hulme. Jack said “Labour accused us of failing to deliver, yet after discussions with Minsters your local Conservative team were successful in gaining the money needed. The work is now in progress”.

Lewis Quigg commented “This major investment in our local schools will benefit Chadderton children for generations to come.”

IMPROVING OUR OPEN SPACES IN CHADDERTON NEW PLAY AREA FOR CHADDERTON HALL PARK.

PARK ESTATE/ BURNLEY LANE SHOPS IMPROVEMENTS.

Work is well underway on our new children's play area in Chadderton Hall Park. The whole area will be fenced off to ensure the safety of our children. This follows your Conservative Councillors raising concerns on resident’s behalf.

Last year we agreed to fund a new flower bed and Christmas tree with Christmas lights. Park Estate Tenants and Residents Committee organised a Christmas Lantern Parade with local children.

Cllr Jack Hulme said “ We ensured that Chadderton Hall Park was our top priority and even improved the play area after listening to the views of users such as local play groups. We always put residents first and politics second”.

Cllr Jack Hulme said “the improvements have brightened up the whole area. I attended the Christmas Lantern parade which was a fantastic success and a credit to the Park Estate Tenants and Residents Association”.

SECURITY CAMERAS FOR BROADWAY SUBWAY After many years of campaigning, your Conservative Team have managed to secure funding and install Security Cameras for the entrances of the subway under Broadway. These improvements have also included new handrails and improvements to lighting in the subway. Lewis Quigg said “This is great news, as someone who lives near to this area it is right that something has finally been done, this after years of neglect under Labour”.

POLTICAL HEALTH WARNING!

Labour’s Mystery team???

In a recent Labour leaflet none of the Labour Councillors or candidates gave their home addresses or full contact details. One Councillor and Candidate only gave a mobile number, which could cost hard pressed residents a significant amount of money per minute to contact them. What a cheek! As you can see, your Conservative team always gives you our full details
