OLDHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL ELECTIONS 5TH MAY 2011
LEWIS QUIGG The only local choice for Chadderton North
Is a strong local campaigner. Will take a 10% cut in allowances if elected. Freeze Council Tax and stop other parties from using it as a weapon on homeowners.
ACTION FOR YOU ALL YEAR ROUND Dear Voter
We also campaigned against the expansion of a massage parlour in Chadderton North.
I have lived in Chadderton all my life and have been educated, brought up and still live in Chadderton today. I believe that Chadderton North needs to have a local and accountable representative who will ensure Chadderton North has a voice, instead of the old kowtowing Councillors who put party before town.
My team and I took direct action in Chadderton where we cleaned up a grot spot and removed abandoned vehicles.
If elected as your local representative I want to make sure that basic principles such as a freeze in council tax and giving greater powers to local people are delivered on . On May 5th vote Quigg your only local voice for Chadderton North.
Send a message to Oldham Council that Chadderton North is as important as any other part of the borough. Yours Sincerely Lewis Quigg

Your local Conservative team have frozen Council Tax for 2011/12 giving households a well deserved break. Conservatives supported the overwhelming majority of First Choice Homes Tenants to move to registered social landlord status, bringing in £149 Million. Continue to protect frontline services related to the most vulnerable people in our community as well as libraries, leisure-centres and swimming pools. We will continue to explore all options in reducing the cost and number of Councillor’s and the cost of managing the Council, Cllr’s and senior officers. We will continue to support the recent considerable improvements made in our education services .

Chadderton needs to have a local and accountable representative who will ensure Chadderton has a voice, instead of the old kowtowing Cllr’s who put party before town. So vote Conservative and let’s put Chadderton First.
Despite what has been a very difficult year for Oldham, we are committed to protecting our valued community assets. We have protected our libraries, leisure centres and swimming pools, while at the same time freezing Council Tax. Going forward, our vision is for a more accountable council, one that gives value for money and empowers local people.
A LOCAL MESSAGE FOR CHADDERTON

Work is well underway on our new children's play area in Chadderton Hall Park. The whole area will updated and fenced off to ensure the safety of our children. Cllr Jack Hulme said “ We ensured that the play area was improved after listening to the views of users such as local play groups. We always put residents first and politics second”.

After years of Labour rule, your local Conservatives have ensured that finally Council Tax will be frozen for 2011/12. Under Labour we saw Council Tax rates double, meaning hard pressed Chadderton taxpayers were constantly being squeezed. We felt it was important to give taxpayers a break.
