I will fight for residents on matters that concern them. I will not remain silent on major issues that arise. I am active in the ward supporting residents with matters, both large & small that matter to them. This election is about choices and opportunities. It is your opportunity to elect a Councillor to represent you for the next 4 years. A choice between a Conservative Councillor who will work with you or a Labour Councillor who will work against you.

I will fight to restore the Green Flag Status of Foxdenton Park and look at ways of reopening Foxdenton Hall. I will support the Freezing of Council Tax over the next two years. I will work with all parties in implementing the twenty’s plenty campaign for residential streets. I will work with residents and all parties in creating a suitable and sustainable plan to regenerate Chadderton Town Centre.

Council Tax Freeze. I will support the Freezing of Council Tax for the next 2 years. (Over past 4 years it has saved £308)

Firm but Fair: I support the points based immigration system where only highly skilled/paid people who can support themselves & speak an acceptable level of English can be considered for entry to the UK.

EU Referendum: UKIP can’t give you a Referendum, Labour won’t give you a Referendum. Only the Conservatives will give you a IN/OUT Referendum on Britain's membership of the EU.

I will always be the strongest advocate of our Green Spaces, it is what makes Chadderton special & why it needs protecting.

COUNCIL TAX FROZEN
Robert is dealing with several Traffic Problems across the ward, whether that is on Foxdenton Lane, Broadway, Raven /Pennine Avenue, Denton Lane & Hunt Lane to name a few. Robert will work with all parties to bring in the 20’s plenty (20mph speed limit) campaign for residential roads.
ABOVE: CONSERVATIVES COUNCIL TAX FREEZE HAS SAVED YOU £308 Robert welcomes Oldham Council’s decision to take the Conservatves Council Tax Freeze for 2014/15. On average households will save between £77 to £100. Unlike last year where Labour increased Council Tax by 3.5%.

Robert has helped in clearing land at the side of some properties just off Fourth Avenue and helping clear dog mess at the back of properties on Raven Avenue. Robert is also seeking help for other residents who face such grot spots.

Robert has worked with Oldham Council in bringing to a head a sensitive issue over adult social care. Robert believes that in such important cases that politeness & urgency be applied to families concerns.
RIGHT: FROM APRIL PEOPLE CAN EARN £10,000 TAX FREE BEFORE PAYING INCOME TAX. Under Labour, the personal tax allowance stood at just £6,475. Thanks to the Conservatives, 24 million taxpayers have seen their income tax cut. Three million of the lowest paid have been taken out of paying tax altogether.

The 10p starting rate of tax on savings income will be abolished meaning 0% Tax will be paid on the first £5000. Making it easier & cheaper for savers to withdraw cash directly from their pension funds instead of buying an annuity. New “Pensioner Bonds” will pay 2.8% for a 1-year bond & 4% for a 3-year one to savers aged over 65 with NS&I.
