ITERATION ONE
Further angles of iteration one.
ITERATION TWO
Observing interaction between surrounding and natural elements. Exploration of how the sunlight casts a shadow due to the position of various pieces of the model.
Image shown bottom left, demonstrates a plan view of iteration two. Showing the areas created by the levelled wrapping of the model to the ‘surroundings’.
Top right image. Close detail of shadows cast as effect of the sunlight passing in-between the vertically positioned pieces. Bottom right image. Side profile of the iteration. Further shows how the model connects to the ‘surroundings’ (represented by an object of wooden material). The model is confined to an undefined rectangle, with all pieces meeting at one height .
Exploration of how position and use of dramatic angles creates dimension to structure.
ITERATION THREE
Left image. Plan view photograph of iteration three. Displaying the design in clearer detail.
Right image shows how pieces overlap. The way these pieces interact could have been better thought out. This interaction is a point be improved through the following models
Model explores the space differently to the other models in the series. Through focusing more at attempts to create a series of sections – some blocked whilst others appear almost passable.
ITERATION FOUR
Creating passages and depth through use of layering the abstract shapes produced by combing pieces that appear to fit together due to interlocking angles.
Model possess few pieces placed along 180/90 degree angles. Despite this design choice, pieces appear parallel to one another, creating an element of piece among the hectically overlapped and angled positioning.
Time-lapsed video of model making for iteration four, to show the process and evolution of the cut out shapes to the final model produced.

AXONOMETRI C VIEW OF ITERATION FOUR
The current page presents the initial digitally produced models of the iteration. With a Cardboard material applied.
Fusion 360 Iteration three.
Iteration three designed in Fusion360. This design has been chosen to produce a model from because I felt the abstract design would be elevated through the application of digitally enhanced material(s) and texture(s).
Exploring the software through application of materials. Above image has been produced with MDF board material applied . Following two images present the progression I have made in the design. Through utilisation of learnt skills of Fusio360.
Previous model altered through further application of various materials. Transparent material has been applied to one piece of the design to allow visibility into the design beyond, creating interest of the viewer to look beyond.
Above image shows various changes made to previous image capture of design progression. Additional materials and textures introduced into the design. The image has been captured through the perspective camera feature of Fusion360. Also shadows have been applied.
