Personalized College Preparation Chaminade doesn’t just focus on being a great fit for high school – we prepare students to find their next great fit. From the moment our freshmen meet their counselor, they know that will be the person they work with over the next four years to help them define their personal definition of “college prep.” Counselors also work with their students to align their actions with their goals, choose classes, and advise on activities to help make a student’s dream a reality. In addition to academics, Chaminade provides a student wellness program coordinated by our school therapist to make sure Chaminade students become great students and great people!
Unique Learning Pathways In the Chaminade family, every student matters, so every pathway through the school is important. Students enjoy personalized attention and excellent preparation for college in a goal-oriented environment. They personalize their pathway, choosing from athletics, clubs, co-curricular activities, AP classes, fine arts, community service opportunities, and a wide variety of elective courses designed to maximize their potential and help them grow toward their future.

The Chaminade Family
Exploration & Growth
The National Association of Independent Schools states, “Students in coeducational settings learn better because they learn from both boys and girls. They are better critical thinkers and are more likely to be innovators in their professional lives.” Chaminade prepares students for real life and knows their college and workplace reality will be co-ed. Young men and women who learn together also lead together and succeed together. There is no better college prep education than a co-educational experience.
Our Chaminade family is values-based, diverse, and inclusive. The Marianist culture of Family Spirit means we help students fit in and belong. We want your student to develop positive relationships and meaningful long-lasting friendships.
At Chaminade, students explore their faith and develop their own moral compass as they grow into perceptive, responsible adults. They will pursue their interests in the classroom, through extracurricular opportunities and volunteer experiences. Athletes compete in a variety of sports, artists will explore new avenues for self-expression, and all students will discover their greatest potential.
Values-Based College Preparation
Safety & Security
We help students personalize a learning path that prepares them for college and aligns with their interests and goals. We encourage them to discover and maximize their talents as they grow. College counseling begins when they first come to Chaminade and continues throughout their journey here. Counselors get to know them, help them plan their path, coach them when needed, and keep them on track to achieve their goals.
In the classroom, we model empathy, respect, and dignity. Students feel safe expressing their opinions and exchanging views with others.
Campus safety is a top priority. The high school is a closed campus with a guard station, perimeter fence, security cameras, and an alert system throughout the school. People's safety is also important to us. Every staff member receives an extensive background check before being hired. Randomized student drug testing keeps students safe and helps protect them from social pressures.
Building Their Future Together Our graduates embody four key characteristics: faith, academic readiness, leadership, and service. Our work with your student begins with this end in mind. Parents are an important part of student success. We partner with parents and provide opportunities to help you become an active member of the Chaminade community.
Affording Chaminade Chaminade offers a tuition assistance program to aid families that could not otherwise afford a Chaminade education, as well as families that are experiencing temporary financial difficulties. During the 2023-2024 year, we granted nearly $5,000,000 in financial aid.
