Three Champions, One Private Golf Club

Champions Retreat Golf Club is a 27-hole private golf club located just minutes from Augusta, Georgia. This championship golf course brings together, for the first time, three of the greatest names in the game, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player. Between them, 13 green jackets, 34 Major victories, and 159 tournament wins. Never before have these three each created their own individually designed course at one property, making Champions Retreat a truly unique experience in the world of golf.

These legends each set out to design nine signature holes on a masterful course to be sculpted on 365 acres. Skyward Georgia pines, long-standing hardwoods, and numerous wetlands along the Savannah River. They succeeded, as these courses, combined with charming amenities like luxury Golf Cottages and a private, natural setting, provide Members and their guests a truly unique experience not easily found in the United States today. Additionally, Champions Retreat has played host to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur three times and will do so again in 2024.

Masters Week Golf

Champions Retreat offers an exclusive, private setting and golf experience for you during Masters Week.

TEE TIMES

Available Sunday, April 7th - Monday, April 15th

• 1 round of golf (18 Holes)

• Full Access to our Practice Facilities

HOURS & PROCEDURES

Golf Course Hours 7:15 am - 7:00 pm

Golf Shop Hours 6:30 am - 8:00 pm

All guests must check-in with the Golf House for your round or additional play. Players must arrive to first tee 10 minutes before tee time. One ball off the first tee.

Please keep up with the group in front of you. Groups that fall more than one hole behind will be asked to move forward.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

If the course is closed due to extreme weather conditions that render the course unplayable, and players are not able to complete 13 holes of their scheduled round on the same day, the Club officials will make an effort to accommodate the desires of the players. Refunds are not guaranteed.

A notification will be sent to each golf cart with instructions on what to do incase of extreme weather conditions. Please do not come off the course unless directed.

SHIP STICKS

Many of our guests during Masters Week are shipping their clubs to Champions

Retreat to avoid stress and possible delays at the airport. If you'd like to do the same, we recommend using our preferred shipping partner, Ship Sticks, to ship your clubs and luggage prior to your arrival. We've created a custom website for guests to easily book their shipment below.

CADDIE PROGRAM

Champions Retreat has retained the services of CADDIEMASTER, a premier caddie management company in the U.S. and abroad, enhancing what is already a terrific experience to an unforgettable one. During Masters Week, your tee time includes a forecaddie who will accompany players riding in golf carts.

Their duties include:

• Locating golf balls, providing yardage

• Tending the flagstick

• Green reading

• Maintaining pace-of-play

• Providing a general hole description with target lines

• Maintaining the golf course by filling divots, rakingbunkers, and fixing pitch marks

Titleist, Callaway, and Taylor Made sets can be reserved through the Golf Shop.

FITNESS CENTER 5 AM - 11 PM

Our Fitness Center, located on the second floor of the Locker House, is open to all Members and guests during Masters Week at no additional charge.

THE GOLF HOUSE

Our Professional Staff is on hand to make sure that everyone who visits the Golf House finds what they desire. We are fully stocked with the most indemand golf fashions and technology. Please let us help you create a terrific memory from a great week. This year with your tee time, each guest in the group will be receiving $50 in merchandise credit for the Golf House. To receive your $50 merchandise card, please visit the table located on the Golf House porch. This station will have cards available for pick-up from 6:30 am - 2:30 pm. A staff member will have your cards on file and can either distribute to each individual or to a group leader. Please note: the cards have an expiration date of April 10th and are not eligible to be used any time after that date.

TITLEIST CUSTOM BALLS

Custom Titleist golf balls make a great impression on your clients and guests. Place an order of 12 dozen or more Titleist balls with the Champions Retreat logo, your company logo or personal imprint and receive 15% off that order. Orders of 40 dozen or more may be eligible for a discount.

GOLF CLINICS

The Professional Staff here at Champions Retreat are available for individual golf instruction and group clinics during Masters Week.

CHAMPIONS STEAKHOUSE

Our Champions Steakhouse experience will be located in the Barn and feature a nightly variety of prime steaks, seafood, delicious desserts, and one of the best wine lists in the area. The Arnold Palmer and Gary Player private dining rooms within the restaurant can accommodate groups from 15-30.

BLUFF OVERLOOK

Cocktails, Hors D’oeuvres, and dinners with a view; that’s the experience at the Bluff Overlook. Situated above our Grille House, this intimate space can host from 15-40 in its indoor facility with a wraparound deck overlooking the golf course. Perfect for a sublime cocktail and Hors D’oeuvres party where guests can mingle and socialize in a private space with a million-dollar view.

After your round, stop by the Grille House Patio and enjoy a meal at ‘28’. With spectacular views of the golf course, this casual eatery option will feature an entirely new menu this year, as well as a large screen to watch Masters highlights. No reservations required.

MASTERS WEEK COTTAGE RENTALS

Relax in luxury in one of our comfortable and charming cottages surrounding the Clubhouse. Individually accommodating 4 to 8 couples, our cottages allow you to experience true southern hospitality, making them the perfect home away from home.

Weekly cottage rentals include daily housekeeping, a complimentary charcuterie board on day of check-in, along with initial cottage stock of snacks, sodas, and juices. (We will also include one bottle of Vodka, Bourbon, Whiskey, Tequila, and a selection of beer.)

We are excited to announce we added a new element to the Play at Night experience this year! Part of the driving range will be equipped with Toptracer technology providing you with real-time feedback after each shot. Champions Retreat and Toptracer will be hosting the “Tournament of Champions” contest each night during Masters Week. Along with a live DJ all week, a full bar will also be available for you to enjoy a cocktail, beer, or soft drink.

Club Policies

In order to provide an enjoyable club experience, we ask that all Members and guests adhere to the following club policies and procedures.

GOLF COURSES

Please refrain from use of the course after dark including hitting shots onto the green from the cottage or walking on the putting green surfaces.

COTTAGE CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. Due to incoming guests, we ask that you promptly remove all of your belongings from the Cottage by 11:00 am. We are happy to provide luggage storage on request.

PARKING

Once you have unloaded your car, please park in the large parking lot behind the Grille House. Group vans may park in the Maintenance lot behind the Driving Range. We ask that all vehicles keep the main road clear and park in their designated lots.

CELL PHONES

Champions Retreat prohibits the use of cell phones on the putting greens, short game area, Grille House, Golf House and common areas. Cell phones are permissible in the cottages and Locker House. Use of cell phones on the golf course is permitted but members and guests should use discretion and courtesy so as not to interrupt or affect anyone’s play.

DRESS CODE

Players are required to wear proper golf attire while on the golf course and practice facilities. Golf shoes must have soft spikes only. No denim is permitted on the golf course. Shorts for gentlemen must be Bermuda length. Cargo shorts, cut-offs, denim and t-shirts are not permitted on the course. Men, women, and children not golfing are permitted to wear “neat” jeans with no holes or frays. Hats must be worn forward-facing and should be removed when in the dining facilities.
