Concept Ambiguity of indoor and outdoor
The site is an important area where many circulation paths intersect. This project suggests a community museum that could embrace former circulation into the exhibition area. While walking through the building, users will lose the sense of indoor and outdoor. Several openings and penetrating pockets allows easy access to the building, and rhythmic intrusion of pocket spaces makes the sensing of space, whether inside or outside, ambiguous, encouraging circulation through the building.
User Experience Open vs Enclosed pocket spaces Bring outside to the inside of the building People percieve space through several factors. The openness and closedness is one of thefactors. These three different types of pocket spaces, indicating degree of openness, will form the building. Scattered distribution of these spaces will destruct the line of indoor and outdoor.

Ambiguity of Indoor Space For users to freely use the community museum as their paths, distinction between interior and exterior has disappeared. Interior walls are designed to be the same finishing material that exterior walls is finished in. The same paveing design is continued into the building to exempt the sense of 'entering enclosed space'.

Outside Inside Exempting distinction between interior and exterior expands to the opening of the roof to allow penetration of 'light' and 'rain'. Outdoor green space will penetrate the building, and indoor space extrude to the outdoor. Chanju Park | Portfolio 2018
