THIS ... IS NOT A LIBRARY DESIGN STUDIO DELTA, 2019. LOCATED IN MELBOURNE’S CHINATOWN, THE PROJECT PLACES EMPHASIS ON THE CIVIC ROLE OF THE MODERN LIBRARY THROUGH THE USE OF PROGRAMMATIC LAYERS. THE GRADUAL TRANSITION FROM PUBLIC TO PRIVATE THROUGH THE LAYERING OF ENCLOSURE, COUPLED WITH UTILISING SIGNAGE AS FORM, WORKS TO CAPTURE THE RICHNESS AND COMPLEXITY OF THE CONTEXT.
