Monthly Report for April Dear friends and donors, Charity organization Serbs for Serbs registered in the state of Illinois in United States in Jun 2010 by the group of the Serbian youth. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is a 501(c)(3) notfor-profit profit charitable organization. Donation is tax-deductible deductible to the extent followed by the law. On 30th September, 2011 we finally nally got the letter from department of the treasury (IRS) with tax exempt 501(c)3 approval. All donations to our organization donated from June 16, 2010 are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers ansfers of gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
About Us The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Americans, Serbs and their friends through planned projects, social and humanitarian activities in order to develop and foster better society for future generations and provide aid for underprivileged families in need. Although there are many humanitarian organizations and associations, help often doesn't reach the most jeopardized. Due to unnecessary administration, missing information and slow decision making, the delivery of aid arrives too late to the final consumers, or not at all. It is a sad and embarrassing, but true fact that more than 18.000 children daily die around the world because of starvation and malnutrition. ion. There, among us, the blind and deaf. We are witnesses of the bad demographic situation of our nation, tion, decreasing natality, increasing number of singles, abortions, accelerated aging of
www.serbsforserbs.org 2013 the population and generally bad economic condition of the households in Serbia, Republic of Srpska and other countries in the Balkan. An average couple has "fallen" on one child. Analysts warn that Serbs will become a minority in its own country in the following century if the nation, individuals and government don't wake up from the nescient in which they've fallen! On the other hand, nobody is talking about the families with many children which grieve by living in bitter poverty. Occupied by their everyday struggle for survival, they are being humbly in their desire for implementing rights which belong to them. Their life stories, fears and problems are identical, but almost invisible and unheard in order to gain the attention of the public, media and even state. That's why the idea of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs arose. The organization rganization was formed by a group gr of young and trustful people, who are united by the common vision of helping families blessed by many children and who are aware of the fact that even a small help means a lot for those who don't live in a material excess. We are united by the humane idea to help the poorest part of the Serbian nation. Charity organization Serbs for Serbs try to revive the spiritless energy of the Serbian Diaspora which would be able to reinforce people of Serbian heritage as well as all good people throughout the world ld with minimal, but bu constant monthly donations. We hope and believe that there is also a grain of doing good and that you will join us in the endless e struggle against poverty. God bless and save all Serbian families with many children and our honored donors who participate in the noble effort to return smile on children faces.
CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE!

Monthly Report for April Ambitions Our mission The mission of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is to affect on consciousness of Serbian people through our projects and humanitarian activities, in order to develop better society for future generations. Why Serbs for Serbs? We wanted to alleviate impaired spirit of Serbian people in togetherness and brotherhood help through humanitarian work and social aid. Who do we help? We help Serbian families who live in the Balkans, have five or more children and live in terrible poverty. Under terrible poverty we define absence of one or more basic factors required for living: food, clothes, shoes, and safe space for living. Why do we help? We believe that there is a basic need for one human (or a group) to help others in distress. A help is not only human virtue but also a Christian responsibility. By focusing our help on families with many children, we directly affect on their stirring toward becoming independent from socialdependable government programs. Indirectly, we want to affect on birth rate of Serbian people that has been in great decline in last 20 years. What are our long term goals? • family is ready to support itself daily and manage to pay all required expenses and bills; • their children are encouraged to continue with school and raising their own family; • our donors are satisfied with the activities and they are ready to help other families; • our organization is satisfied with the results; • family is ready in the future to become our donor and if necessary help other families that are in need of help. Who do we need in organization? We need members and donors that will secure financial stability through supporting our programs and activities in the future. Donors may
www.serbsforserbs.org 2013 join our daily activities within the organization in order to coordinate our work better. We also need volunteers ready to donate several hours per week for actual work within the organization. Activities of volunteers and their specific tasks would be determined by the required projects and their personal interest. From that group of volunteers we would look for future leaders of organization.

TRAILER FOR FAMILY MIJATOVIĆ
Members of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Belgrade visited on Saturday, April 6, a twelvemember family Mijatović from the village Mačvanski Metković near Šabac. We delivered new help for this hard-working family – a trailer for tractor, sprinkler, pesticides, herbicides, potato seed and watermelon seed, in the total amount of 183.000 dinars.
Despite the help we delivered, they still have great needs, above all in agriculture mechanization, irrigation system, and the financial help for paying off the debt for electricity, which is almost 500.000 dinars, causing restrictions.
We call upon all the friends of the organization worldwide to help this great Serbian family in any possible way, so that the youngest members could work and create their own families in the future.

HELP FOR FAMILIES KLISURA AND ĆODO IN REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA
At the beginning of April, members of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Pale visited and helped two families. In Čajniče we met the sevenmember family Klisura, to whom we delivered groceries and hygiene. Another family we visited and helped was family Ćodo from Pale, whom we helped before. They also received groceries and hygiene. We spent 550 KM in the action.
They would like to provide a humble home for themselves. We delivered groceries and hygiene. The family owns a family estate, located about 13 km from the house. They would like to grow cattle and thus provide income. They asked us to deliver them a cow or sheep.
We also visited family Ćodo again, because they live in very difficult conditions. Despite the appeals to the representatives of the local community, and the efforts to provide elementary living conditions for the family, we were forced to buy groceries again, because the children were very hungry.
In municipality Čajniče there are a lot of poor people, which is the reason why approximately 300-500 people leave the municipality each year, and go to neighboring countries, EU or Russia. A seven-member family Klisura was optimistic about their staying in Čajniče until father Ljubo, an only employed member of the family, found out he was no longer employed. Since that moment, the family struggles to survive. The family has children: Anñela (14), Aleksandar (12), Vanja (8), Sretenija (4) and Božidar (2).
We hope that we will be able to resolve all the problems ahead of us, so God help us!

BATHROOM FOR FAMILY ĆETKOVIĆ ON MAJEVICA
During this week they will finish the bathtub and commence putting the tiles, so that until Easter the family could get a bathroom. Upon the beginning of nice weather on Majevica, works on the house for six-member family Ćetković from the village Peljave in municipality Lopare (Republic of Srpska) have been continued.
Family Ćetković is a hard-working one. They managed to raise about 30 chickens, several sheep, which will turn into a flock in several years. They wanted to keep the calf, but failed to do so.
The next phase consisted in building a bathroom and bringing water into the house, in the total amount of 3.200 EUR (about 6.500 KM). The plumbers set the pipes, the electrician finished the installations, and the bricklayers plastering and concreting, respectively.
The project of building a house for the Ćetković family will be continued during summer, and it will take about 3.700 EUR for the attic. We call upon all the donors worldwide to support this project of our organization, so that another Serbian family could get a house until autumn. THE CONSTRUCTION OF BATHROOMS BEGINS SOON
Representatives of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Novi Sad visited at the beginning of April families Milutinović from Pivnice and Danjek from Ravno selo. During the visit to the families we have been helping for quite some time, we brought a humble package of groceries. The idea of the visit was related to the solution of old problems within both families – bathroom, in the scope of the project „Three-pointer from the blocks 2013“.
During the visit to family Milutinović in the village Pivnice, we provided specification of the necessary works, because they need additional room for the bathroom. There is no cesspool, which will have to be built. We should emphasize that family Milutinović lives in dilapidated house, so that we must pay attention to the reparation of the house in the future period.
Family Danjek doesn't have a bathroom, but their house is in better condition, and it can be adapted for the construction of the bathroom and a kitchen. They also have sound ground for sustainable life, in agriculture above all.
We hope that we will soon have the opportunity to spend more time with those families in more humane conditions, to talk about brighter living themes apart from the poverty.

SUPPORT FOR SERBS FOR SERBS FROM REPUBLIKA WEAR
We successfully conducted the action of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs in helping family Tepavac from Vrelo Korenice in Krajina, as an introduction to the big Easter action in Krajina which is being prepared. Given the fact that the area of Korenica is not going to be visited in the forthcoming action, we decided to help family Tepavac on this occasion. The family consists of single mother Mira, her daughter Kosovka (9), grandmother Kosovka and grandfather Dusan. The only income of this returnee family consists of Dusan’s retirement. The family has usual problems like

HELP FOR OBRADOVIC FAMILY IN RASKA
After the appeal from the friends of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Novi Pazar, we delivered urgent help to the four-member family Obradovic from the village Banjka near Raska, which consisted in two sheep and two lambs, in the total value of 29.000 dinars.
The family has somehow managed to survive until recently, but after the heavy injury of the father on his left hand, the children and the parents are almost always hungry.
Their situation is so bad, that they don't even have a kitchen table. The humble help we delivered them will help them temporarily. Due to the enormous needs of the family Obradovic for a normal life, we call upon the donors and good people worldwide to contact our organization, so that the additional help could arrive directly to the family in Raska.
