Have you ever experienced an artist at work? Watched how they use their hands to translate the visions in their mind onto canvas? Own a piece of art that you personally witnessed being created with this live painting by artist Heidi Kirschner. Kirschner typically paints impressionistic landscapes and abstracts, still lifes and her “Heart” series from her quiet Charlotte studio. But, during Celebrate Latin she will be on display, working to compose a one-of-a-kind piece of art that a lucky bidder will get to call their own. Working in oil with an assortment of big palette knives and brushes, Kirschner’s works are layered with nuances of color, light and shadow. She has studied, taught and painted continuously since her girlhood and has honed her artistic style and philosophy. As a classically trained artist, Kirschner’s works combine vision, technique and a powerful expression of spontaneity. “It has become glaringly obvious to me that I must allow the mishaps to happen for the art to exist.
