Next focuses on working with entrepreneurs to enhance their concepts and help them through their failures. They promote the philosophy “fail early and often,” so that they will have a more developed and efficient product in the end. It is encouraged to not let the little things trip you up, when your pencil breaks sharpen it and keep going. The space allows for COLLABORATION to take place, through different spaces with many work environments that promote CREATIVE THINKING. The majority of the space is open so that people can work together and get the opinion of others. There are also spaces allocated for groups to immerse themselves in their work, providing different ways to display their ideas. Pin-up spaces and white boards are everywhere so that as new ideas come to them, they can write down, sketch them, whatever they have to do to keep them and remember them. Having places like this help promote INNOVATION. Touchdown spaces are available for collaboration and quiet time. Many of these spaces are completely mobile so that the work surfaces and seating can be rearranged to suit the group working at that time. This allows the space to be very flexible to meet the needs of anyone using the space. These areas are there to promote creative thinking, innovation, and collaboration. OFFICE SPACE

The Cafe is a place of relaxation where employees can work or enjoy a snack.There is a light and airy feel about the space, so that it is inviting, and comfortable. It includes a high top bar area to encompass impromptu meetings. This space features natural light and, energy efficient LED lighting fixtures and, decorative pendants above the bar. The bar is made of precast stained concrete that matches the countertops. There is also a series of 3form panels that separates the cafe space from the open office. These panels continue sweeping up to create a lower intimate ceiling.

The open office is full of bright colors to keep the users engaged without being distracted. This space is flooded with natural light to help keep the space bright. Throughout the space there is a custom carpet detail that encloses the individual benching stations and, provides way finding. The interior rooms of the space beside the open office are enclosed with glass so that natural day light can be utilized through the whole space.

The think tank is a collaboration zone where creativity can flow freely. Here there is pin-up space, whiteboards, and digital media to support idea generation and capture. This space has flexible, movable furniture so that the space can be reconfigured to suit the users’ needs.

The reception area is the first area that you see when you enter this space. As soon as you enter you see the brand wall. There is a recessed area in the wall, containing the logo. Surrounding the logo are brand quotes reinforcing the atmosphere created by the Next project team.

This sitting area is meant to be an area of relaxation. It is located adjacent to the cafe so that when you leave there you still have a relaxing place to go. This can also be used as a meeting area for collaborating with other co-workers, or just another place to do work. This space offers many different configurations, but there are two separate spaces which are designated by the carpet pattern.
