CAPACITY • THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC HAS CAUSED CHAOS TO SUPPLY CHAINS, WITH GOODS PILING UP AROUND THE WORLD. Similar stories have come from the chemical supply chain, with tank containers increasingly being used as temporary storage. But all supply chains have responded to slowing consumer demand, with cargo building up in warehouses, terminals and inland depots. International freight and logistics insurer TT Club has some warnings.
