PORJECT TYPE: Hotel and club LOCATION: Xi’an, China DESIGN DATE: 2013.09 SIZE: 42 acre (17 hectare) NUMBER OF TEAMS: 3 HIGHLIGHTED SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES: Redevelopment of a greyfield space Use of naturally river water Landscape irrigation requirements balanced with the available wastewater supply Comfortable outdoor microclimate that encourages interaction with nature Increases vegetative biomass Gardens include edible plants Mitigates the urban heat island Reuse of existing site materials and structures Reduced impervious surface Preservation of a unique cultural and historic place

THE SITE:
The program for the plains adjacent north of Xi'an, and adjacent South Mountain. Overall site south is higher than the north, there are 15 meters height. Terrain more flat on north and south sides, but is a large difference high in central.
DESIGN OVERVIEW:
The program is planning a hotel clubs. Client want to have this following features: 1.The Central Park retain the rare medicinal herbs breeding greenhouse . 2.Club section: reception hall, Chinese Academy, hospital, Chinese tea, farmland. 3.Hotel: Chinese hotels, good privacy hotels.

On the south side of the park, near the main road. There are parking spaces on both sides of the main entrance.

Clinic:
This club on the west side. Use of terrain elevation, trees and Chinese architecture, enclosed courtyard forming.
library:
To make the library soft light and conducive to reading, we design this building roof use clay tile, roof tiles and glass.
Club:
South of the highland and north of the lake, it set up the split-level architecture. This building entrance is in the north , the south entrance is in 2 floor. This club is an enclosed space. South is the square box building have stone surface, and the other side is traditional Chinese architecture.

THE SITE
T h i s p ro g ra m i n t h e s o u t h development area in Xi'an. Near the Xi'an University City and Changan Ju river wetland park, there are a lot of students around here.
DESIGN OVERVIEW
This program is a commercial landscape designed for a real estate sales offices. The purpose of this design is to highlight the main building, so it mast without eye-catching landscape. The plane is used 3300 * 3300mm modulo to design. Each module has a number of different variations stone, wooden platform, grass and trees. Wherein the wooden platform has five different heights.

Qinling Mountains Private Villa
THE SITE
This program is located in a village and adjacent a rill. This private villa is in the Qinling mountains. The climate of Qinling mountain is comfortable during the summer and cold in winter. This place is suitable for weekends and holidays. Annual precipitation is abundant, being suitable for the growth reeds, cherry, locust, sycamore, ginkgo and other plants.

This program is designed for five family to enjoy weekends and holidays. This five family is already intimacy with other people. So we design this place included privacy also relatively open.
