SOUTH WUTAI MOUNTAIN HOTEL PLANNING | HOTEL PLANNING Clinic: This club is on the west side. Use of terrain elevation, trees, and Chinese architecture forms the enclosed courtyard.
Library: To provide the library with soft light and make it conductive to reading, we designed this building roof using clay tiles, roof tiles, and glass.
RECEPTION
Club: South of the highland and north of the lake, the club sets up the split-level architecture. This building entrance is in the north, the south entrance on the second floor. This club is an enclosed space. The square box building in the south has stone surface, and the other side is traditional Chinese architecture. On the top of the box building, the river forms a waterfall.

Our idea is based on the narrative above and followed people-oriented principles through using the simplest materials to create a cozy space in the city. In the design, we apply the rusty texture of the material to create the space, which presents the intense atmosphere of high-rise mansions in the city. The interior part creates contrast through green translucent plastic pillars making a natural space similar to the bamboo forest. Finally, the roof is made out of tensioned fabric in the shape of a leaf, which creates the shelter for escaping from the heat and storm, so people can indulge in comfort surrounded by nature inside the building.  In the bustling city, most people work hard and feel exhausted with their life. Living at a fast-pace, we occasionally experience high pressure, and even lose ourselves. However, if there were a natural recreational space, located in the noisy environment, for getting rest comfortably, people can have the chance to pause and relax temporarily in the paradise and enjoy the casual and peacefuL atmosphere.

Each hole on the rusty wall illustrates the atmosphere of life in Hong Kong, and people can trace the tale via the changes of shadows. Also, the green pillars not only simulate the natural space, but also drive the circulation in the interior space. Made out of elastic material, these pillars can be played like a harp and improve the interaction between the pavilion and people. In addition, the sequence of pillars can project shadows and create beautiful geometric patterns on the wall and ground in the sunlight. In this unique environment, people can feel the sense of contrast between the structure and natural elements, so as to feel the contrastive beauty between the city and nature. 18

2017 SPRING GALA DESIGN We are the WINNERS of the food booth design competition from 2017 Spring Gala in Boston Architecture College. The pictures show amazing sign HM, Qiren Zhao, and I created for Fuji Restaurant. Three days before doing construction, we made a meeting in Fuji Restaurant. Qiren and I showed our designs and HM combined them, and give more interesting ideas for this project. The rice buds was Qiren’s idea, and the paper flowers was my idea. When I said I would like to use black wood to make the “Fuji” logo, HM recommended use pieces of plaster paper to create some depth between the background and “Fuji” logo, and use light and shadow to create a powerful title.

2017 SPRING GALA | Practice Experiences
During the intensive 5 hours, we worked on the broad, and we had perfect teamwork and time management ability to finish all parts. Even though we had some problems such as the edge of the wood sticking to the ground, we fixed that with nails and it worked perfectly. This was a great experience to learn: how to cooperate with team members; how to design on intensive limited environment; and how to fix problems. 22
2017 VR GALLERY EXHIBITION
VR Gallery EXHIBITION | Practice Experiences
On October 11th for a reception of the exhibit BOS \ MEX Because of Water. We use virtual reality headsets from Yulio company, to show the environment from both Boston Architectural College Gallery and Mexico city, CMAX company. At the beginning, we made SketchUp and Lumion model, rendering the pictures and put it into our phones. With the Yulio App and a VR Cardboard, we can see the real world on our hand. This process combined with physical spaces or multiprojected environments, to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that simulate a user's physical presence in a virtual or imaginary environment.

The Mexico CMAS Gallery This is really helpful when we want to show our projects to others. We can make an immersive design environment. Then, our friends using virtual reality equipment is able to "look around" the artificial world, and with high-quality VR move around in it and interact with virtual features or items. It is one of the best ways to show our project in the future. 24
