Concept
Compare the different urban spaces of North Terrace in 2009 and 2018, describe the new modern architecture SAHMRI, focus on urban development, and explore spatial perception technology in spatial research. Through Combining the acquired 3D point cloud model with the graphic booklet, the North Terrace space is described and presented in an immersive way, showing the history of urban development in multiple dimensions and levels. It brings a new perspective to the discussion of urban development.
01
How do you perceive history in the timeline? A lot of people do it through books, pictures, videos and others. However, these media can not provide you with an immersive experience of the past and the present space.

Therefore, the project aims to use spatial sensing technology to process and save the information through digital processing and finally present it in a three-dimensional point cloud model. The 3D model provides an immersive opportunity to experience Adelaide's urban development and modern architecture charm.

Evidence of Adelaide urban development
As shown from the dynamic data analysis charts, Adelaide's urban population is gradually increasing, and the economy is also rising between 2009 and 2018. The economy is the driving force of urban development, which is enough to prove that Adelaide's urban development is full of vitality.

Modelling Process of Building Form 12
Reasons for choosing SAHMRI SAHMRI has a complex building facade. The design of this building has won many awards. An iconic architectural form that looks like a "cheese-grater." This unique building is the most eye-catching of the three new modern buildings. Final Facade

Notably, SAHMRI's design was awarded several South Australian Architecture Awards in 2014.

SAHMRI facade is used for decoration and shading, and it is 'designed' by sunlight.
SAHMRI facade's uniqueness can also be seen from the 3D point cloud model's points distribution. southwest elevation
