TREATMENT
1. Lolita is in the classroom before the lesson. She is cutting the cuticle with nail nippers. She is focused. Classmate Andriy looks at her intently. He kicks her, and she pierces the cuticle. There is blood. Lo is mad with Andriy, saying that she will poke his eye out with these nail nippers. He is scared. Homeroom teacher Anna Viktorivna (in her thirties), a kind and soft woman in the 8th month of pregnancy, comes in. The teacher takes in Aliыф in a slightly baggy hoodie. Lolita has her fingers bleeding, she draws hearts with blood in her children’s notebook. Anna Viktorivna introduces Alisa to the class and makes her sit near Lolita. The teacher notices that she draws with blood. Andriy says that Lo bit her fingers again. Anna Viktorivna gives a test to the pupils and takes Lolita to the toilet.
2. In the toilet, she washes Lo’s hands and tells her to give her the nail nippers. Lo refuses, saying, “my body is my business.” The teacher covers Lolita’s hands with band-aids and asks her not to hurt herself, saying that she can always talk to her. Lo asks if she could adopt her. Anna Viktorivna avoids the answer awkwardly.
3. During the break, the girls and Lo dance a Tik-Tok dance. Then, they invite Alisa to join them, but she says that only her Dad has a phone, so she doesn’t know this dance. The girls laugh at her and look at her drawings; there’s a superhero, Alisa draws comics, they laugh at her. A classmate Andriy approaches and takes Alisa’s hood off. The children laugh that Alisa is a victim of the coronavirus because she is fat. Alisa is afraid of boys, she has
a panic attack. Lolita pierces Andriy’s hand with her nippers and threatens others. The children call her crazy. They say that she was bitten by the dogs.
4. Lolita goes along the girl’s store with accessories, nail varnishes, and lingerie. Alisa follows her. Lolita pushes her away: why is she following her? Alisa says that Lolita has very beautiful fingers, unlike she. Lolita says, shall we paint them? Alisa hesitates and Lolita chooses a nail polish for her. It is evident that Alisa likes it, but she is very shy. Alisa chooses black nail polish. Alisa has a lot of money, she does not spend anything. Lolita doesn’t have any money. Lolita buys hairpins, a nail polish and a set of pink stockings in sequins for herself with Alisa’s money.

5. The girls sit on a bench, wearing hairpins and sequins. Lolita has painted her nails and is painting Alisa’s. She says that Alisa does not have a manicure, and she will now cut her cuticle. Alisa is frightened. She withdraws her hands sharply. Lolita is surprised, well, as you wish. They record video for Lolita’s Tik-Tok in pins and with filters; they laugh. Alisa is having a lot of fun. Suddenly, Lolita notices what time it is: she has a swimming lesson. Lo runs away, Alisa gets sad, she is unhappy again.
6. Lolita is in the sports pool at school; she does not really want to swim. She spits in the holes for water on the board.
Viktor Pavlovych comes in with a team of boys aged 6-8. He jokes that Lolita idles because she has an aluminum cap (a silver swimming cap). Lolita has no sports swimsuit; she is wearing a white beach one and it is transparent when wet. Lolita is swimming and asks if she is swims properly. She distracts Viktor; he is kind to her and corrects her hand position. He touches her; Lolita provokes him. She notices that Viktor is enthusiastic and constantly distracted by the boys. He tells them to jump; the boys jump and it’s a thrill. Lolita is envious. One of the boys forgot his swimming trunks and jumps in his shorts, they are also transparent and fall off after the jump. Everyone is happy. Lolita says she will jump too. Viktor says it’s dangerous; she should learn to swim, so as not to upset her mom.
7. Lolita waits for Viktor Pavlovych. She wants him to take her to his place. She says that she has forgotten the keys. He takes her home with him, but Lolita asks not to tell her mother; Nevertheless, Viktor Pavlovych calls Liuba, Lolita’s mother.

8. Lolita is in Viktor Pavlovych’s home; he has many cross-stitch embroideries. Lo looks at them. He makes tea. She asks who is cross-stiching. He says that he does it himself: it is great when it comes to reducing stress; he teaches Lolita to cross-stitch. She hurts her fingers, she likes it, blood seeps into the canvas. Viktor Pavlovych covers her fingers with a band-aid. He says that the teachers are worried about her cuts, asks if she is doing it because of her father’s death. Lolita kisses Viktor Pavlovych sharply, he pushes her away and puts her to shame, but says that he will not tell her mother: it will be their secret.
9. Lo is at the back seat of Viktor Pavlovych’s car. Liuba is at the front seat, she scolds Lolita: how could she pierce Andriy’s hand with nail nippers? The whole school is alarmed. Liuba is desperate: she has no money for a private school. She want Lolita to give her the nail snippes. Lolita says she lost them. Liuba is desperate. Viktor calms down Liuba and gently asks Lo for nippers, because otherwise they won’t go. Lo gives him nippers. Crying Liuba kisses Viktor out of gratitude. Lolita looks at them angrily.
10. Alisa comes home. She creeps in, removes hairpins, and wipes glitter. But the father comes
out to meet her and undresses her. “I’ll help you.” She clenched her fifsts to hide her fingertips. The father notices the glitter, gets angry with her, saying that she is dirty, and needs to be washed. He takes Alisa to the bathroom, as to Golgotha. He undresses and washes her. Alisa is disgusted, but she endures, clenching her fists. The father forcibly unclenches her fists and notices the varnish. He shouts.
“Who did it? How she dared, she must be a good pure girl. And she is very dirty. It needs to be washed off.” He is washing off the varnish. Alisa is limp.

11. Alisa is in pajamas. The father turns off the light, and says that if she does not fall asleep, an evil dwarf will come and climb into her bed. Alisa closes her eyes. When the father leaves the room, Alisa gets out of bed, lies on the floor and tries to walk on the wall. It does not work. Then, Alisa speeds up and runs to the wall – she falls. She hits the wall. The father says, the evil dwarf is already coming. Alisa jumps into bed and closes her eyes tightly. Someone lies down next to her and says she was bad and dirty.
12. Lolita is home, sitting next to her father’s urn. There are various jewelry, flowers, and toys. Lolita is embroidering in hoop a pattern, which she took from Viktor Pavlovych. Liuba in the lobby asks Viktor Pavlovych to stay for the night: she cooked food. Viktor refuses; he says he has work tomorrow morning, and Liuba has to go make peace with Lo.
Upset Liuba enters her room, asks Lolita what she is doing in her room, settles her husband’s iconostasis. Lo replies that there is more light in
her room and shows that she has embroidered. She boasts, saying that she is embroidering for mom. Liuba, without looking, asks where the needle is. Lo says, it’s in the hoop. Liuba does not find it and has a nervous breakdown, saying that a needle is death. Where is the needle? The needle is not found. A nervous breakdown goes on.
13. Lolita and Liuba with a magnet crawl around the mother’s room, looking for a needle.
14. Lolita is in her room, locked from the inside. She lies in bed and cries. Mother opens the lock in her own way (with her nail). Lolita freezes. Mother lies down under the blanket and begins to hug Lolita. She asks why Lolita closes the door. Lolita is silent. Liuba strokes her and says that she is just very worried about Lolita, because a needle is death. Mom will sleep with Lolita today, and tomorrow morning she will sit on the needle, the needle will go into Liuba’s body and go on the thigh, then in the hand, and then to the heart… and mom will die. Lolita will be taken to an orphanage, where other children will bully her. Mother falls asleep. Lolita feels the needle move on her thigh; she sees it. The needle moves up the thigh, to the arm, Lolita is terrified… The needle hits the heart. Lolita goes underwater in the pool, she is naked, she is scared, she covers her chest with her hands.
15. In the morning, Lolita’s eyes are swollen. Mother smokes sitting on the windowsill. Lo approaches her. Liuba strokes Lo and kisses her, saying that she found a needle: it was in the hoop. Lo looks over Liuba’s shoulder. It’s the 9th floor. Then, she withdraws and says that Liuba promised not to smoke on the windowsill. Liuba answers that she is the mother here. She tells Lo to sit down and eat.

16. Lolita is dressed for school, she eats, flips through Tik-Tok. Her mother glues patches under her eyes. She says that she shouldn’t cry, because when she cries, she’s ugly. Lo says she won’t cry and hugs her mother. Then, Liuba notices that Lolita has no traces of panties on her buttocks. She asks where her panties are. Lolita says she is wearing them. Mother wants to see. She forcibly takes off her pants; Lo resists. Liuba sees that Lo has thongs. She demands that Lolita change her clothes. Lolita says that she bought panties for these tight pants. Liuba says that everyone will see that she has no panties; other parents and teachers will think that her daughter is a whore. Lolita shouts that she hates her, and scratches her nose until it bleeds. Lolita runs out of the house. Liuba immediately goes to Lolita’s room and digs into her underwear. She finds stockings.
17. Lolita listens to Tik-Tok in front of the school. She smokes and wipes her nose, which is still bleeding. Then, with a cigarette, she goes to school, She is walking to the music (Love is a drug - Roxy music). She smokes in the hallway; she is wearing a bright makeup with glitter. Girls are wearing uniform. 5 people are dancing a dance from Tik-Tok. One girl is wearing her mother’s dressing gown, hair curlers, and a face mask. She runs out and hits with a frying pan a boy in an undershirt. Another boy beats a girl (his “wife”) till she bleeds. Three more boys are sitting on the windowsill, playing backgammon and drinking vodka from a bottle. This is chaos and anarchy. A boy in an airsoft uniform runs out and shoots schoolchildren and teachers with a sniper rifle. Blood is everywhere. Lolita walks past this chaos and smokes. Everyone smeared with blood continues to dance and run chaotically around the school: children reproduce the model of society.

18. In a Ukrainian language lesson, a female teacher (60 years old) looks at children with disgust. Lolita’s hair is loose, the teacher says that Lolita’s hair makes it difficult for her to write. Lolita says that it’s okay. Not asking Lolita’s permission, the teacher goes to braid her hair. She comes from behind, and says that Lolita has a bad mother; Lolita will get to the orphanage, where she belongs. Lolita begins to breathe hard; a needle goes up inside her body, while the teacher braids her hair with force, pulling the child’s head. Lolita pulls herself free when the needle reaches the heart. The class laughs; the teacher gives a test to the whole class, because of Lo. While the children write, the teacher tells them that their class is two “Ds:” degradation and debilitation. People like them will hand over our country to Russia or other enemies. The class is shocked. We show the faces of each child in the class. Against the background, the teacher says that she would shoot down anyone who does not like Ukrainian culture, does not read Shevchenko and Franko. Children look at the camera one by one.
19. During a break, Alisa is sitting in the corner. Lolita is also there, she is upset. The boy Andriy, who clung to her at the beginning, approaches and says that everything they teach is boring shit, it’s better to play the game… Do they have Roblox? Lo says ironically that he doesn’t have Roblox (or Minecraft). He shows his account.
20. The game. The avatars of Lo and Andriy walk around the house of Lo, where dad and the dog are sitting. Lo shows the house that she furnished. This is her dad, and at the table sits avatar of Alisa. She draws comics. Children’s avatars ask what it is.

21. Real Alisa tells about her character Alan. He is super strong, he has iron muscles and he saves the galaxy. The children drop Roblox on their phones and invent a comic with Alisa about Alan, super beauty Lola, and their space slug Andriy. Children laugh and quarrel, Andriy does not want to be a slug. Alisa says she will become a writer, and when she dies, they will study her at school, and everyone will love her.
22. Andriy and Alisa are at Lolita’s house. They draw comics and figure out how to die. Lolita brings them an urn and says that this is her real dad, and he is already dead, he was burned: it can be this way. Lolita pours dad into a bowl. Children look at the ashes for a long time, then taste the ashes. Lo does not let them at first, but then she tries. They laugh. They eat ashes and jump. Alisa says she can move the room. The children do not believe her. Alisa lies on the floor, so do they. Alisa straightens her arms and tells what to do. They do, and suddenly the room moves. The floor takes the place of the wall.
They walk along the wall and laugh a lot. Children have fun. Suddenly my mother and Viktor Pavlovych come. The children immediately fall; everything becomes as before. Liuba comes in. She is angry that there are guests, and the house is not cleaned. Andriy suddenly becomes very ill, he has a stomach ache. Viktor takes Andriy home and says he will come back. Alisa asks to stay with Lo. Liuba calls Alisa’s father Igor and arranges it.
23. Liuba smokes on the windowsill at night, Viktor is nearby, he hugs her, she says that Lolita is an evil girl, and she no longer knows what to do with her. Viktor says that she must be patient, this is an awkward age. Liuba says that Lolita’s father wanted a child, but she didn’t really; maybe that’s why Lo loved him so much. Maybe she shouldn’t have had children at all?
24. Lolita and Alisa are in a room in Lo. The room is locked; the door is tied with a rope. Lo says that now she can change and gives her pajamas,

but Alisa hides in order to change. Lo asks, what is she ashamed of. Alisa says she has a terrible body, she is weak, she can’t do anything because she is a girl. Lo says she can go swimming with her, but Alisa says she can’t. Then Lo offers her to be a boy, to become Alan as her hero. Suddenly Liuba tries to enter, tries to open a locked room with her method, but there is still a rope. Liuba hits the door, tries to knock it out. Viktor pulls her away.
25. The girls under the blanket call Alisa Alan. They order male hormones for Alisa’s money. Alisa-Alan is very happy. They hear Viktor and Liuba having sex behind the wall. Lolita jokes that her mother simulates an orgasm. The girls fall asleep.
26. Lolita and Alisa are in the store. They go to the pharmacy and pay for online orders. They run out like thieves, they have a lot of fun. They read the instructions. Alisa takes the hormones, they go to the store and buy men’s clothes for Alisa. While Alisa tries the clothes on, she scratches her back with theft-protection element; there is a little blood. Alisa likes it.
27. In class, the girls call Lolita to dance a new dance to new music. Lolita draws with Alisa and Andriy and says that she has known this song and the name of the group for a long time, and they dance horribly.
28. Liuba and Viktor take Lolita from school. Liuba says they will go and buy something for Lolita. Lolita says she doesn’t need what her mother chooses. Liuba immediately breaks down. Viktor reconciles them, Lolita agrees, only if Viktor goes with them and if they buy what she chooses.
29. In the shop, Lo tries bright freaky girlish clothes; Liuba is against, but Viktor persuades her. Lo is happy and pulls Viktor to buy ice cream.
30. At home, while Alisa eats, her father massages her and notices a scratch. He undresses her and examines her. She asks not to do it; she just scratched somewhere. The father says that she is fat, she does not look like the cute little girl she was, she needs to eat less, now she will go to bed without dinner. He will put her on a diet. He takes her food and eats it. Alisa looks at her father in horror.
31. Liuba brings Lolita home, Lo is dirty ice cream, apparently, she ate a lot of it. Lo is happy. Liuba immediately sends her to wash her hands and face. Lo goes to the bathroom, and there are no doors. She asks, where the door is. She sees that there are no doors in her room either. Lo is shocked. Liuba takes out the stockings she found and says that her mother sewed “stockings for panties” because there were no tights in the Soviet Union, and all Lolita does is immoral, she will now look after her better; Lolita will sit in her room. Nervous, Liuba goes to the kitchen. Lolita stands, she is furious, breathing hard,

and then runs abruptly into the kitchen. There, Liuba smokes at the window, she shouts at Lo to go to her room. Lo forcibly pushes her out the window. Liuba falls. Lolita is shocked; she is shaking. Tulle is blown into the room. Lo calms down.
32. Lolita is in the apartment. Police are inspecting the apartment, talking to Viktor about the accident. He is depressed. Police and an ambulance take away the body. Viktor stays with Lo alone, brings her a sedative. Lo is stunned, she asks Viktor to take care of her, so that she does not get to the orphanage: she is very afraid to get there. Lolita is terrified of the orphanage. Viktor hugs Lolita and promises not to leave her.
33. Lolita wakes up in her pajamas at home. She gets up and goes into the kitchen. There, Viktor cooks and asks how she feels today. Lo hugs him like a woman, strokes him, kisses his
ear. She takes a selfie with Viktor. Viktor carefully pulls her away and says that she has not been to school for a month; it cannot go on like this. Lolita lokks bluntly on the phone; she adds a photo in Insta, and indifferently says that she is depressed, and maybe they could go somewhere together. She shows a photo of the Maldives in Insta. He replies that he made Instagram for her not to sit there for days. Viktor goes to work and asks her to do the homework that her classmates gave her, and then he will think about where they could go.
34. Lo is in her mother’s room, digs into her things and puts everything on, gtries on, puts on her mother’s shoes. She takes a selfie with makeup. Alisa writes to her asking how she feels. Lolita sends a selfie and replies that she feels great. Alisa asks Lo when she gets back to school, and Lo says never: she and Viktor will go away.
35. Lolita opens the game of Roblox or Minecarft. She goes to that house, and there, at the table sits her father, and mom comes. They hug Lolita, mom says she is very nicely dressed and can wear her shoes if she wants. Lolita smiles.
36. In the evening, Viktor comes home. Lo meets him in an evening dress and pulls him into the kitchen, saying she cooked. Viktor is surprised. Lo gives him a half-roasted piece of meat on a plate (as if it was a “saignant” steak), drinks wine and pours it for him. Viktor tries, he says, it’s very tasty, although it is not. And then, he notices that Lo is also drinking. He tries to forbid her. She takes a knife and plays with it. Viktor tries to take the knife away from her, Lo plays, laughs and accidentally cuts Viktor, not very deep.

37. Viktor covers the cut with band-aid in the bedroom. Lo apologizes. He says that starting from tomorrow Lo comes back to school and thats the end of discussion. She is angry. She says, she is better at home. Viktor goes to bed, he says, he has to get up early tomorrow. Lolita climbs into bed with him. Viktor chases her away at first, but Lo says that she is very sad without her mother and she does not want to be alone. He agrees. Lo snuggles up to him in bed.
38. Alisa looks at herself in the mirror and lifts small dumbbells. She transforms, becomes more masculine, she likes it, she begins to become more confident, speaks about herself as a man. She goes to school without breakfast. Her father wants to give her a lift, but she runs away.
39. All the children are around Lolita: she is finally back. Lolita brags about Instagram, she has adult photos and a bunch of weird subscribers commenting that she is a hot girl. The girls are delighted. Alisa says that these are some perverts, Lo is mad at her saying that she is jealous. Lo insults Alisa.
40. Lo tells the elder girls that she had sex, she has a lover and they will leave soon. Alisa asks if Lo is going swimming. Lo is surprised why Alisa asks about swimming. Does she want to take Viktor from her? Alisa says that Lo is crazy, and Lo replies that Alisa is just jealous because Lo is already loved, and Alisa has to die for it.
41. Alisa is making progress in swimming. Viktor Pavlovych praises her. He says she can become a swimmer. Lo comes, sits on the side and asks playfully if she can become a swimmer. Viktor is glad that Lo is back. He says, she should follow Alisa’s example.
42. Lo takes Alisa’s swimming board and pushes her under water. Viktor sees it and expels Lo: she disappoints him. Alisa catches her breath. Viktor calms her down and strokes her back. Angry, Lo goes to the exit, but notices the boys who do springboard diving with Viktor. She goes to the diving towers, sees the highest one, and climbs there.
43. Wearing her transparent swimsuit and silver cap, Lolita is on a 7-10 meter high diving tower. Lolita is scared. Alisa looks at her from the water. Viktor Pavlovych shouts for her to get off, she swims badly. Lo cannot jump; she freezes there. Viktor is afraid for her, it’s dangerous. Boys in the pool boo her, because she has a transparent swimsuit. Alisa is scared for Lo. Eventually Lolita leaves, then turns around and jumps. Lolita goes under water. Lolita

emerges. She is delighted, she did it. Alisa swims up to her with a board and praises her. But Viktor Pavlovych is nowhere to be seen: he did not see her jump. With a scandal, the female swimming coach kicks Lolita out of the pool, takes her to the locker room and shouts that it is a whore. It is a sports pool, and Lolita looks like a whore. Lolita says that Viktor likes her swimsuit, and the coach is jealous because they are together.
44. Viktor is in the director’s office. He apologizes for the recent situation with Lolita. The director says that Viktor can no longer work here: Lolita’s case is not decent anymore. Neither the pool nor the school can allow parents to be afraid to bring their children here because of Viktor. Viktor does not understand what it is all about. The director shows a photo in Lolita’s Insta. It is quite an adult profile. There is a photo of Viktor and Lo with the caption “mine.” Viktor says she is a little girl, her mother has died, and she cannot control herself. The director says that this is the worst: she is a little girl, and Viktor is taking advantage of the situation. They have already informed the relevant authorities.
45. At home, Viktor collects things, Lo cries, she can’t go to the orphanage. He says there is nothing he can do. He will take his things home and come back to help collect Lo’s things. Viktor leaves. Lo sits and cries.
46. At home, Alisa sees her father, who found her hormones, dumbbells and men’s clothing. He calmly looks at their photo album. There’s little Alisa in a fairy costume. He tells Alisa to sit next to him. Alisa, shocked, sits down. He says that she has

always been his princess, and now she has betrayed him. They are now going away to another city, where everything will be as before. He has already collected her things and got a beautiful fairy costume with wings, like on the children’s photos. He asks her to put it on for a trip. Alisa is shocked, she asks her dad not to go, she has friends and school here. Alisa is afraid. Father forcibly puts a fairy costume on her, and says that this dirty Lolita spoiled his princess. Alisa hysterically pushes her father away and runs away from home in a fairy costume. He hits hard on purpose.
47. Alisa runs to Lolita, Lo is standing there, crashed by grief, and suddenly Alisa hugs her. Lo lets Alisa, but suddenly her father breaks in with the words, “it’s you, you spoiled my girl.” Father beats Lolita, she is in blood; he hits her again. Alisa tries to protect Lo, she is stronger, and her father beats her and asks if she wanted it. Lolita is very
scared, she hides under the table and sits there. Suddenly, a needle starts to go up her body. It is moving slowly; Lolita gasps. She tries to stop the needle, catches it with her hands, but when it reaches her heart, Lolita pulls it out of her and inserts a spike into the leg of Alisa’s father. The girls run away, the father chases them. The girls on the stairs run into Viktor, Lolita asks him to help, says she will always obey him. Viktor protects the girls, beats Alisa’s father. Girls are photographed: beatings are registered in the police department. It looks like a photo shoot for Instagram. They are covered in blood, Alisa in a fairy dress with wings. In the photo, she makes a heart with her hands.
49. Viktor is in the department, he will also be interrogated now. The girls are taken out. Lo asks him not to leave her. Viktor almost cries, but says he can’t. She yells at him, “Dad, Dad, please don’t leave me.”
50. Alisa and Lolita, in blood, are taken to the orphanage. The girls are holding hands. The children look at them in fright. The teacher is shocked and sends them to wash immediately.
51. Alisa and Lolita go into the shower. Everything is ugly there: dirty tiles, cabins without doors. Lolita is very scared, she is very afraid of the orphanage. Suddenly, Alisa lies on the floor. Lolita understands what she’s up to, and lies down, too. They forcefully start moving the shower cabin, they laugh! They manage to turn the cabin to the ceiling, and they stand on top of the ceiling with their feet. Water also flows up and magically drips from the ceiling. The girls wash the blood from each other’s beaten faces.
