Welcome to the November issue
It’s been a busy month for us at home, we have had quite a bit of work going on in the house, we’ve had two weddings to go to (including Sarah’s from the office – congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Bowers), my birthday, half term and a few days away with friends at Peppa Pig World. I am hoping November is going to be a quieter month in all honesty! In this issue we are starting to think about darker nights and home security options as well as what to do if you don’t fancy the work in making a full Christmas lunch at home in food & drink. With dark nights, frosty mornings and more rain it’s important to make sure your car is in tip-top condition, and we have our ABC of safer motoring. We also look at what Kirton has to offer and last but not least, Tim test drives the Toyota Camry. Well, for now, all that’s left for me to say is enjoy the month and see you next time!

News soundLINCS wins National Lottery support for Future of the Past project soundLINCS has received a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant of £78,000 for an exciting partnership project, Future of the Past, to work with young people and cultural facilitators to creatively interpret Lincolnshire’s heritage Supported through The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and made possible by National Lottery players, this two year project will bring together a range of key partners working together from the university, cultural, arts and heritage sectors delivering projects across Lincolnshire. Supported by staff and volunteers, young people aged 11-18 will engage with seven heritage sites across the county to develop and deliver a programme through reinterpreting heritage from the youth’s perspective. This will help enable our heritage to become more engaging and accessible for future audiences. Future of the Past will be supported by arts and heritage specialists with expertise in training and skills building. The project will encourage young
people to stay involved with their local heritage site after the project has finished, building in sustainability for the future. Commenting on the award, Nikki-Kate Heyes MBE (CEO), said: “We are thrilled to have received this support thanks to National Lottery players and are confident the project will support young people to be active citizens with pride in their heritage. We see the Future of the Past as a two year pilot project for a much larger regional programme, therefore, in addition to the data collection and analysis required by our funders – The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Lincolnshire County Council and Museum Development East Midlands - the project team will be looking to evaluate the model of working, so we can learn more about the process and how well it works and to learn lessons”. Plans for new education facility given green light
Plans to create a new education facility and wider public sector hub have been signed off by East Lindsey District Council, following a full Council meeting recently. Councillors granted approval for the project to proceed, meaning the District Council can now purchase the land on the former college site on Mareham Road, Horncastle. The new education facility’s course provision will be linked to the requirements of local employers and adults, allowing adult students and apprentices to access education, including university level courses, creating more accessible learning opportunities in the local area. Alongside the proposed new education facility, which the District Council is looking to progress with Boston College, the site will be home to wider office facilities to accommodate a number of public sector partners, including East Lindsey District Council.
The District Council has agreed to allocate £6.23m to the project and is also seeking funding of £1.52m from the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership towards the total project costs of £8.25m. The Council will also explore other income streams to support the project development and delivery costs to ensure the project is cost neutral within 15 years. Councillor Craig Leyland, Leader of East Lindsey District Council, said: “I’m pleased that Council has agreed to proceed with this exciting project. The new education facility will provide substantial benefits to the District; helping to equip our residents with valuable skills and ultimately providing a boost to the economy of the area. “Our plans to bring together several public services will provide opportunities to operate in a more dynamic way and offers the chance to collaborate more closely with our partners for the benefit of the local community.”
New Player in the Garden Game in Lincolnshire Autumn and Winter bring many challenges for gardeners; keeping the borders looking nice once you have pruned the perennials and fertilised the lawn. Creating the perfect winter garden with a delicate dusting of snow or a sparkle of a new frost can be challenging when the garden looks wind ravaged and tired. Over the last 16 years, ColourFence has been working with customers to reduce the impact of the changing seasons on gardens across the UK. Trevor Conduit, Director of ColourFence Nottingham, explains how: How much can fencing really change the look of a garden? It depends to a degree on the garden itself but in most residential gardens the fencing is one of the most prominent features, particularly in the Autumn and Winter as plants die back. A poorly maintained fence can easily make the whole garden look scruffy and uncared for and with traditional wooden fences this can translate as something as simple as needing a coat of paint or a panel. Is ColourFence really ‘weatherproof’? Colorbond steel saves you from having to paint the fence and it won’t rust, peel, rot or warp. ColourFence has been tested to stand up to wind gusts of up to 130mph. Many of our customers see the product as ‘weatherproof’ as storms don’t leave them with a huge repair bill, and they don’t need to paint the fence at all for the length of its 25-year guarantee.

Restart a Heart Day 2019: Thousands of young people to learn CPR On Wednesday 16th October, LIVES supported the global Restart a Heart Day campaign by delivering lifesaving CPR lessons to school pupils across Lincolnshire. Restart a Heart Day is a designated day of action across Europe with the aim to teach vital lifesaving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. Following the success of the previous years’ campaigns, LIVES volunteers travelled across Lincolnshire to ensure as many children as possible learn CPR, and have the opportunity to practice their skills on CPR manikins. We estimated to teach nearly 3,000 students on the day. LIVES is working in partnership with other organisations, including East Midlands Ambulance Service, RAF Wittering, Lincolnshire Police, G4S Policing and Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue to achieve this total.
When someone has a cardiac arrest, every minute without help reduces their chances of survival by 10%. The earlier you give CPR to a person in cardiac arrest, the greater their chance of survival as this keeps oxygenated blood flowing to the brain and heart until defibrillation or other advanced care can restore normal heart function. That is why it is important that as many people as possible know this valuable life-saving skill; it buys the patient time until medical help can be obtained. Nikki Cooke, CEO of LIVES commented, “Restart A Heart Day is a fantastic initiative and LIVES is proud to be part of it. Sadly, only 1 in 10 people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, which shows just how important it is to get more people trained in CPR so we can start to improve those statistics.” www.simplyboston.co.uk | SIMPLY BOSTON | 5

The Voice from the Gutter A mystery cleaning goddess has been coming into town in the early hours of the mornings leaving red bags of debris from highway pathways, car parks and open spaces on the pavements for collection. The mystery cleaning goddess who wants to be known as ‘The Voice from the Gutter’ has given herself seven months to change Boston focusing on the upcoming Mayflower event next year in May 2020. ‘The Voice from the Gutter’ gets up early every Wednesday and Sunday morning, doesn’t even live in the Borough of Boston, and travels into town with her husband to help tidy the streets of Boston. When interviewed she said: “Everybody need to come together, sweeping paths and keeping them clear of weeds. What ever it is they do, sweeping paths, cleaning up leaves, everyone has a talent and every little helps. “With the winter coming close, a lot of the grass verges have been cut, this is now showing lots of litter, especially cigarette butts, these need clearing and it will make all the difference.” ‘The Voice from the Gutter’ is calling out to anyone who wants to help volunteer and tidy up the streets of Boston to join her one morning even
if it is for half an hour or so, every little makes such a difference. She will be seen wearing her high-viz somewhere along John Adams Way or parts of land leading off it for the next few weeks. Go see her, have a chat, join in and give her a hand. She also said: “I started volunteering when I was suffering from mental health issues and now I can’t stop. Anyone who feels isolated please don’t worry, coming out and volunteering will help you. “It would also be great to see some staff from businesses come out and join us for a while.” Boston Borough Council’s environment supervisor, Jenny Moore has said: “We have many litter champion volunteers in Boston borough who are the environmental equivalent of Neighbourhood Watch. They help to keep their local area clean and tidy, and report to us any persistent issues such as dog fouling, graffiti, broken street furniture, overflowing bins or abandoned vehicles etc. “The litter champions initiative has been led by members of the public and the council is fully-committed to supporting these volunteers in any way they can. “What ‘The Voice from the Gutter’ is doing is amazing and we would like thank her for all of her hard work.”

Mini Police
On an initially gloomy Saturday morning last month, representatives from various agencies associated with the ‘Emergency Services’ began arriving in cars, vans and other vehicles at Central Park in Boston as part of the ‘Shining A Light’ event organized by Boston Borough Council and Lincolnshire Police. This event was the second of its kind, with the first being held back in October 2018. Its aim was simple – to give the public of Boston an idea of the amazing work done by all of the agencies who work in partnership with Police, Fire and Ambulance. Feedback from last year’s event was that is was a hit, and so organisers were determined to make it bigger and better this year. With more agencies invited came more displays and demonstrations, giving all those who attended more to look at and get involved with. There were also some amazing demonstrations by the Louth Search And Rescue Dogs and Lincolnshire Fire And Rescue. The Mini Police returned for their second ‘Mini Marathon’ fun run. They set themselves a hard task, having had an amazing time and raising over £1800-00 for good causes last year. It was also a challenge for our team of PCSOs, with only three weeks from term commencing to get their schools visited, elections planned and hosted and new Mini Police issued uniforms. Thanks to their hard work
on a very tight schedule, 39 Mini Police (and their families) were able to come along and take part. This year we were also joined by some very special guests who have become a small part of the Mini Police family. Children from the East Lincolnshire Downs Syndrome Family Support Group along with their families and supporters joined in with their own ‘Mini Marathon’, and were cheered on by a huge crowd of supporters. The group will be working with Boston’s Neighbourhood Policing Team over coming months, helping us to reach more of our communities and deliver really important information. Our Mini Marathon took place shortly after midday, and with many returnees from last year, there was an electric atmosphere as the countdown began and the children set off. A slightly shorter route than last year was a welcome surprise to many. The race was won by Harry from Wyberton Primary School, followed in second by Ruby from Butterwick C of E Primary School and Jack from Wrangle Primary coming in third. They were presented with trophies, and all entrants were awarded medals for taking part. The event was an amazing success, with many agencies already committing to taking part in another event next year. Our Mini Police excelled themselves, representing themselves, their schools and Lincolnshire Police in
a fantastic way, with many positive comments received throughout the day. Once all sponsorship monies are collected, charities
will be nominated to receive donations on behalf of the Mini Police. Here are a few pictures from the day…

Adult Book Choice Common Ground by Rob Cowen Returning to his native Yorkshire, Rob Cowen describes his discovery of the edge land; the overgrown lanes and disused railway tracks through evening and early morning walks, which bring him into close contact with the local wildlife. Blurring the boundaries of memoir, natural history and novel, this book offers nothing less than an enthralling new way of writing about nature and our experiences within it.

Post 16 options At 16 you will be making some major choices about your future. This is the chance for you to decide what you want to do. Places to study at 16 Many people chose to say on at school, but there are other choices too, like studying at a college or training provider or getting an apprenticeship. Full-time Education After taking your GCSEs (Level 2 qualifications), you could move on to Level 3 qualifications, either by staying on in school or going to college. The courses at Level 3 are A levels (mainly to qualify you for university) and vocational qualifications (to qualify you for a job). You can take a mixture, but if you are thinking of going to university, you’ll usually have to have at least one A level. Many universities will require more than one.
achievements, what you want and need to do next, and any career plans you have. Study programmes should combine learning about an area of work or subject, developing personal and social skills and improving skills in English, Maths and ICT. There is a requirement that students who gained a D mark in English or Maths will have
to re-sit these and you must continue to study them in school or college, along with whatever else you decide to do. How to choose When you’re choosing your next step, it’s useful to think about what career you would like and that can often dictate which route is best for you. Look
at all options, visit schools and colleges on their open days, take your parents or a trusted adult so they can help you decide and may think of questions you wouldn’t. Or you could visit the National Careers website to look at job profiles. Each of them gives you the essential information you need on what the job involves and if it’s right for you.
Study Programmes If you’re going into post-16 education or training, your school or college should offer you a study programme whether you’re doing academic or vocational study (or a mix of both). Your study programme should be, as far as possible, a tailored package. It’s like an individual learning plan based on your qualifications and

Focus on Kirton: Kirton War Memorial
One such memorial was raised at Kirton as a permanent testament to the sacrifice made by the members of the local community who lost their lives in the First World War. Kirton War Memorial was built by G Maile and Sons at a cost of £530, to commemorate the 68 local servicemen who fell in the First World War. G Maile and Sons were masons, sculptors and church furnishers (especially stained glass), based in Euston Road, London. They were responsible for a number of war memorials across the country, a number of which are listed including Wooburn, Fowlmere and Pirton War Memorial (all Grade II). The dedication ceremony was held on 12 November 1922 and it was unveiled by Sir Archibald Weigall who was Governor of South Australia 1920-1922 and also unveiled many war memorials there. The names of the fallen from the Second World War were added at a later date. The memorial is sited in a triangular paved area surrounded by the original railings on a low wall with an ornate iron entrance gate located at one corner. Three new gates were added in 1996. In 2009 16 names were added to the war memorial on new granite blocks with the help of grant aid from War Memorials Trust. The aftermath of the First World War saw the biggest single wave of public commemoration ever with tens of thousands of memorials erected across England, both as a result of the huge impact the loss of three quarters of a million British lives had on communities and the official policy of not repatriating the dead, which meant that the memorials provided the main focus of the grief felt at this great loss.

Earcare this Winter
With winter well and truly arrived, it’s time for everyone to take precautions to keep themselves healthy during the chilly season. But it turns out that wrapping up warm isn’t just helpful for people looking to not catch a cold, it can also help keep your hearing on form. Rough weather, particularly cold conditions, can present challenges for exposed body parts, particularly the ears. Ears cool down very quickly because they have no protective fat tissue. The nerves in the ear canal run unprotected under the skin and may react with a strong pain impulse to changing temperatures. In addition, the risk of infection in the ears increases in cold conditions because less blood is circulated. Cold and wind can irritate the ear canal, which often causes pain, while water in the ears can cause inflammation. Also, a cold head may cause cramped muscles in the neck region, which can lead to ear problems like tinnitus. People with hearing aids should be aware that cold conditions can cause batteries to run down more quickly, and condensation can occur inside the hearing instrument, causing an electronics

failure. • Do keep your ears warm by wearing a hat, headband, earmuffs or a good ski helmet. • Don’t put cotton wool in your ears to protect them from the wind. This actually can cause inflammation in the ear canal. • Do dry your ear canal as well as possible after showering, swimming or using a sauna. With care, you may be able to do this with a hair dryer. • Don’t neglect an ear infection. See your physician or an ENT specialist. Left untreated, an infection can get worse and cause serious damage. • Do stick to a healthy diet and do plenty of exercise to stimulate blood circulation to your ears. • Don’t use hot water to warm up cold ears. Gently massage them instead. People who wear hearing aids need to remember
these simple tips: • Always have spare batteries available. If batteries get cold, you can warm them for 5 minutes in your closed hand or in a pocket; do NOT use a lighter. • Never put hearing instruments on a heater. • Special drying containers, available from hearing care professionals, can prevent damage caused by condensation. • Water-resistant hearing instruments are less susceptible to damage from condensation. If you’re flying with a cold or sinus infection Hopping on a plane in winter with a nasty cold or sinus infection will not only involve a lot of possible sniffing, it can cause you significant ear pain – especially if you have a pre-existing infection to accompany your illness.

Should I Stay or Sho Wherever you are this Christmas Day, restaurants will be opening their doors to guests who, having considered the time that it takes to prepare the meal at home, have decided to throw in the kitchen towel and head out for Christmas lunch. The choice is wide: you can swap your traditional home-cooked turkey for a confit de canard at Café
Rouge, a quattro formaggi pizza at Bella Italia or nachos Navidad at Las Iguanas. The growing trend to eat away from home on Christmas Day prompts some important questions: is it still Christmas if you eat the festive meal in a restaurant? Does it still count if you haven’t risen at 5am to discover your turkey doesn’t fit
in the oven? Is something lost if you haven’t muttered your intentions to murder Aunty Maud for her crime of ridiculously slow potato peeling? The very laborious task of putting together a Christmas dinner means there are infinite opportunities along its production line for families to bond and create rituals. “Who hosts? Who does the

Home & Property
Home security and technology Home security and technology are increasingly linked. Using tech to secure your home is more common. Here, we present a number of tips to keep your home safe, including some specific tips relating to the winter period now that it is upon us: • Lock away your snow shovel. Although useful for clearing pathways during difficult periods, snow shovels are perfect tools for burglars to gain entry. Secure tools to prevent such occurrences. • Lock doors and windows. Regardless of how long you will be away from your property, it is important to keep your doors and windows locked. Most homes are fitted with UPVC windows which must be double locked. Ultimately, when you’re away from your home for long periods of time, remember to lock your deadbolt. • Have a burglar alarm fitted. Burglars will not even attempt to break into a property which has a visual burglar alarm outside. Although an alarm can be an expensive investment, it can be invaluable for protecting your home and deterring burglars. • Hide keys. Some burglars attempt to fish keys through a letterbox which have been left on a hall side table for example. Don’t give burglars the opportunity and make sure keys are hidden from view. • Keep your home well lit. During the winter months, daylight hours are inevitably reduced, presenting opportunities for burglars. Remember to keep your home well lit using motion activated outdoor security lights and indoor timers. If you want to go the extra mile, you could even invest in a home automation system where your lights can be controlled from your mobile device. • Limit social media activity. Although social media is a useful way to share life events, it can also be
22 | SIMPLY BOSTON | www.simplyboston.co.uk
an ideal platform for burglars to find opportunities to break into properties. Ensure not to upload photos of your property until you are home. This is just the start of the considerations for home security and technology. • Make your home look lived in (even if you’re away.) If you are away from home for certain periods of time, it can be useful to ask a neighbour to complete certain tasks such as clearing your driveway of snow or collecting overflowing mail. Such activity deceives burglars into thinking someone is home. Therefore, reducing the threat of burglary to your property. • Maintain border fences. Badly maintained or rotting fences provide perfect access to your property by burglars. To prevent this happening, keep your fences well maintained by repairing or replacing them when necessary. Subsequently, it is also important to keep side gates locked. • Lock away valuable objects. Valuable objects such as bikes are a quick gain for thieves as they are easy to steal and provide the added advantage of providing a quick getaway. Ensure such items are locked up with a high-quality lock. • Make items traceable. For high value items, it is worth marking them using a special type of pen. This allows the items to be traced back to the owner if theft does occur. • Join or form a neighbourhood watch scheme. Have the peace of mind knowing that your neighbours are viewing your property from time to time. This could allow a faster response if an
incident was to occur. • Be mindful of where to store high value items. Ensure that high value items are out of view. Additionally, it may be worth locking away very valuable items in a safe or vault. Modern methods of securing your home There are a number of modern techniques now available. Home security and technology work well together, so here are some great ideas – • Smart door locks. Smart door locks allow you to secure your home without a key. They pose a range of benefits over traditional key entry locks, including the ability to control the lock via an app, eliminating keys and being battery powered, meaning no wiring needed. • Smart home alarms. A smart home alarm is similar in some ways to a traditional alarm, except it allows you to control it via an app. They pose a range of benefits over traditional systems. These include being easy to fit and easy to control via an app (amongst other things) • CCTV kits. For an advanced solution to keeping your home safe, you may consider investing in a CCTV kit. CCTV is useful in monitoring activity in and around your home, and modern kits allow you to remotely view footage. • Digital door viewers. Unlike older styles of door viewers, digital viewers have the added advantage of providing a very clear image. This allows the viewer to get a clearer picture of who is at their door.

ABC advice on winter driving As temperatures start to get lower and the nights draw in, it means one thing is certain: winter is only around the corner. Unfortunately, as with much of the UK, there are car accidents on Lincolnshire’s roads every time there’s a cold snap – so anything you can do to help avoid any heartbreak has to be a good thing. The most important message is to err on the side of caution and not get behind the wheel if it’s snowing or a flurry is forecast. In a rural county such as Lincolnshire, you can find yourself in remote areas, and for that reason it’s always best to be prepared. Listen to forecasts, and make sure your vehicle is properly maintained and kitted out. If you get caught in bad weather the most critical thing is to slow right down and keep your distance, taking into account it will take you much longer to stop in an emergency.
24 | SIMPLY BOSTON | www.simplyboston.co.uk
With that in mind, it’s time for motorists to start thinking about the ‘ABC’ of winter driving. Avoid driving in snow and other perilous conditions. Never set off when it’s snowing or forecast to, and avoid driving if you possibly can in other bad conditions like fog, heavy rain and ice. Consider alternatives such as walking or using public transport if available. Speak to your employer about working from home when weather is very bad, especially if you live in a rural area prone to snow or floods. Be prepared. Make sure your car is well maintained, and tyres have a tread depth of at least 3mm. Check forecasts and plan your route to avoid roads likely to be more risky and allow plenty of
time. Pack a winter driving kit in case you’re caught out. This should include: an ice scraper or de-icer; torch; cloths; a blanket and warm clothes; food and drink; first-aid kit; spade; warning triangle; and a high-visibility vest. Always take a fully charged phone in case of emergencies, but don’t be tempted to use it when driving. Careful and cautious driving. If you do get caught out driving in hazardous conditions, you need to slow right down to increase the distance from the vehicle in front. In snow or icy conditions stopping distances increase by as much as ten times so you need to drop right back. Keep a careful look out for people on foot and bikes who may be harder to spot.

Toyota Camry 2.5 Hybrid Auto Excel The Toyota Camry is a bit of a legend - 19 million have been made and sold since 1982. It’s been away from the UK for 15 years, though – and we’ve missed it. Toyota’s also missed selling it here, so the Camry’s finally coming back – and this time it’s in hybrid guise. The Japanese motor-maker reckons the Camry’s petrolelectric powertrain and attractive styling make it the ‘right vehicle at the right time’ to return to these shores. Is it? Well, the Camry is costly - but look a little closer, and the £29,995 price-tag on the basic model seems less of an issue when you realise how inexpensive it will be to run. Depending on the way you drive and where your drive, the Toyota’s ability to manage short distances on electricity only could save you
forking out at the pumps. It’s stress-free to drive, with agreeable visibility and light steering. Whisk things up, and there’s enough pull from the Camry’s 218ps that you seldom need to go full throttle. Regrettably, it’s common for hybrids to disappoint when it comes to refinement at motorway speeds. The subdued powerplant in the Toyota means your ears become sensitive to other noises. Tyre roar begins to become irksome, as does the persistent wind whistle. But it still doesn’t make the Camry bad company at 70mph - you just need to turn the music up more. There’s no dodging the fact that the latest Camry is going to appeal to taxi firms and private
hire businesses. But that’s no bad thing - it’s roomy enough for five adults and, at 524 litres, the boot is large. The Toyota’s Achilles’ heel, however, is its infotainment system. It is uncooperative, and the glass touchscreen on the dashboard is maddeningly insensitive when you touch it. The automaker says it will fit Android Auto and Apple CarPlay soon, but it won’t be obtainable at launch. If you can ignore the Camry’s convoluted fascia, you won’t be let down by the factoryfitted equipment. There’s lots of it - and only two trims to go for. The ‘Design’ version retails for £29,995, and the top ‘Excel’ model will reduce your bank account by another £1,300. The Design has dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, keyless entry and LED lights. It also comes with 17-inch alloys. Progress to the Camry Excel, as test-driven at the model’s media launch in Croatia, and you will find LED fog lamps, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, a Blind Spot Monitor and wireless phone charging.

get Ready For Winter With the great British winter fast approaching, now is the time to make sure your roof is in tip top condition to protect you from the elements! Give your roof and driveway a new lease of life, call the experts in and relax, knowing you will be all warm and cosy in your home this winter! Driveways Block paving and other surfaces covered with algae, moss and weeds can be unsightly and slippery. Trip hazards can be avoided and the area can soon look great again with all organic matter removed and any joints re-sanded. Roofs
Moss acts like a sponge, absorbing large amounts of moisture and resulting in your roof being constantly wet. If this moisture travels underneath the tiles, it could rot the wooden components of the roof, threatening structural integrity and leading to costly repairs. Moss can break off or be disturbed by birds looking for insects and fall into gutters or downpipes, blocking your drainage system. If this issue is not spotted, it could potentially lead to parts of your roof or drainage system requiring costly replacement. Cleaning and maintaining these areas can make a dramatic difference to the look and feel of your home. This is where the Moss Man can help. We use manufacturer recommended techniques to remove and kill moss to give your property a fresh look. Once the initial work is completed, we can use our own brand biocide to suppress future growth and keep your property clean with regular maintenance
visits. Our customers come to us time and again because our ‘dry clean’ techniques don’t involve masses of water or pressure washing which can cause mess and damage to both your property and your neighbours. We are a locally based business covering Boston, Spilsby, Woodhall Spa and surrounding areas and are happy to provide no obligation quotes for both commercial and
domestic work. Our own brand biocide is child and pet friendly. We are fully insured, licensed and have many examples of previous works undertaken and testimonials. So, when you’re next looking at your drive or roof, and wish it looked fresh and clean, give a call to the Moss Man team. Call (01754) 761606 or email adam@themossman.co.uk

“
We’ll be maintenance-free until 2044! †
The problem with traditional fencing is that it will break. And the moment it does, you have to deal with third party damage, security and privacy issues, neighbour’s concerns, quotes, the expense and inconvenience – all at once. How much simpler it would be to give Colourfence a call and head off all your problems for the next 25 years! The only fence not to warp, crack, shrink, rot or peel and withstand windspeeds up to 130mph. To see our great value, colours and designs call today.
To see our wide choice of sizes, mix and match colours and designs contact us today!
“
Despite many coats of preservative, the structure of the wooden fence in our front garden rotted, and a recent storm sent it off down the road, thankfully missing the neighbour’s car. However, every cloud has a silver lining, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our new ColourFence. It looks great, and we are looking forward to years of summers with no fence paint or algae treatments.
