WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM System for the collection, transmission, treatment, storage, and distribution of water for homes, commercial establishments, industry, and irrigation, as well as for such public needs as firefighting and street flushing. People depend on water for drinking, cooking, washing, carrying away wastes, and other domestic needs. Besides, water supply systems must also meet requirements for public, commercial, and industrial activities. In all cases, the water must fulfill both quality and quantity requirements.

SEWAGE &Â SANITARY SYSTEM Sewerage system is a system of piping with private or public premises that conveys sewage, rainwater or any other liquid waste to an approved point of disposal. A hygienic sanitation facilities are basic essential amenities which allow user to put in sewerage or liquids into sewage system. Sewage consists mostly of water and less of solid which water used to flush the sewage into sewer pipe. The form of wastewater has to collected, treated and safely disposed off to avoid water pollution and environmental degradation.
SEWERAGE SERVICES ( ACT 508 ) An act to amend and consolidate the laws relation to sewerage systems and sewerage services throughout Malaysia for the purpose of improving sanitation and the environment and promoting public health and to provide for matters connected there with and incidental there.
WATER SERVICES INDUSTRY ACT ( 2006 ) Section 63Â The government may direct the owner or management of any premise to install or construct a private sewerage system or septic for the premises. Section 59Â Requiring all premises is at all times properly drained for sewerage in accordance to the act by a sufficient private connection pipe communicating with a public sewer or public sewerage system
LAWS OF MALAYSIA ( ACT 133 )
STREET,DRAINAGE AND BUILDING ACT 1974 Section 56Â No pipe used for the carrying of rainwater from any roof shall be used for the purpose of carrying off the soil or drainage from any privy or water closet or any sullage water. Section 57 No water pipe, stack pipe or downspout used for the conveying of surface water from any premises shall be used to serve or to act as a ventilating shaft to any drain or sewer.
Section 62 The local community may erect or fix to any building such as pipes are necessary for the ventilation of the drains and sewers belonging to it.

DRAINAGE SYSTEM BY LAW
UBBL: Clause 115- Roofs coverings and drainage All roofs of building shall be constructed as to drain effectively to suitable and sufficient channels, gutters, chutes or troughs which shall be provided in accordance with requirements of there By-Law for receiving and conveying all water which may fall on and the roof. Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia The use of two or more pipe materials on a single length of pipeline is not acceptable. All pipes comply with the relevant Malaysia standard, where applicable or British Standard. Manholes are required to gain access to the piped storm water system for maintenance purposes in pipeline sections where there is no access via inlets.
