Brief Description This self-initiated brief was to give the fashion blogger, Leandra Medine a stronger brand and identity to then go on to help with her own second hand clothing sales. Current branding limited and impersonal.
Concept Through research it was clear of Medine’s strong character, she had been advertising under the name of The Man Repeller due to her belief in sartorial freedom. I wanted to create a dynamic brand that could be used across a variation of branded collateral
Logo The logo uses Times New Roman to create a logoshape from letterforms. The colour palettes are limited to black and white due to the use of a lot of images. This allows there to be no distraction from the subject matter, if thats on her blog or in the packaging.

Design Concept Leandra Medine’s web precence is prominent so I wanted to strengthen her branding away from her blog, through which she sells her own clothes. I wanted to let the vibrancy of the garments shine through so kept the colour palette limited.
Packaging I created a range of boxes, the larger for clothing and the smaller ones for jewellery which she also sells. I applied the logo and gloss foiled it to create a clean aesthetic for the clothes to be seen in. It was important that the packaging would not distract from the purchase but enhance it.
Personal Touch To ensure that the customer understood that each item was a one-off I designed a headed note for Leandra to hand write a note on thanking them for their purchase. Through her blog her tone of voice is very distictive and I think this will create a great touch for each sale.

Online Presence Online presence and social media is Medine’s main point of sale so I have continued the branding across her website.
Design Concept The current website can only hold four images and so scrolling through pages reduces enjoyment of the website so I wanted to create a dynamic homepage that is constantly changing and more images on show.
ACCENT IN WHITE
Further promotion The funding rom the self sales goes to a charity and so I think it would be appropriate to link the branding to the charity and create promotion for them. A collaborative event such as an auction. Designing wayfinding and printed collateral such as catalogues and invitations.
