Customer of the month - Ravenshead Garage If it’s good old fashioned service with a smile you’re after and a garage you can trust, then Jonathan (and his team at Ravenshead Garage) is probably your man. It doesn’t seem like a lot to ask for, but as anyone with a car will tell you, it’s not always that easy! Jonathan has been in the business for thirty four years, so he definitely knows his trade, and for 22 of those years he’s been serving the people of Ravenshead at his garage on Main Road. Most of his customers have been with him for donkey’s years, so we thought it was time to remind people

new to the area about Ravenshead Garage. For a reliable, honest, good old fashioned garage service, we think it’s worth giving Ravenshead Garage a go.

Bilsthorpe Village Hall filled for heritage museum event

There was a full house at the Bilsthorpe Village Hall for the Heritage Museum event in February when community groups from the village joined to raise funds. Jerry Hague Labour candidate for Sherwood and District Council Labour candidates Adam Murphy for Bilsthorpe and Andy Szpuk for Rainworth and Rufford attended the event and took time to speak to the various participants. Jerry Hague said “ It was great to see so many community groups filling the hall

and contributing to a very worthwhile event. It shows what people have to offer when they volunteer to help their local area. This all helps the Bilsthorpe Heritage Museum to continue the tremendous work and activities it provides which enable residents to keep in touch and enjoy life in Bilsthorpe.” For information about events at the Bilsthorpe Heritage Museum please contact 01623 871533 or email Bilsthorpe-heritage@btconnect.com
