SherwoOd Forest Ploughing Match 28th November 2021 Report & Photos by Kenny Wharton www.kenpics.com n the midst of the previous days storms, power failures and snow, somehow the sun managed an appearance causing some of the ploughmen to wear sunglasses. The weather held out until the end of the match, then the snow returned.

The match raised £1400 for the Lincs/Notts Air Ambulance. Thanks to everyone who made donations including B&B Tractors of Warsop, Sherwood Lime and Fertilizer of Warsop, Hose and Hydraulic of Langwith, and The Bubbling Kettle who were the caterers on the day, along with all others who donated raffle prizes. Thanks to Andrew Naish for the use of the land.Special thanks to Sue Blaydes and her helpers for the organisation of the event.
