DESCRIPTION Situated on quiet, beautifully landscaped grounds, with convenient access from all points in the Triangle, the Friday Center provides an ideal setting for meetings and conferences of all descriptions. The Conference Center hosts more than 700 events with approximately 73,000 participants annually. The facility has built-in techology systems in many of its 26 meeting spaces. The building also houses a 400seat auditorium and an on-site catering and dining facility. Conference planning and technology staff provide in-house support to program planners.
AMENITIES & SERVICES The focal point of the Friday Center is the Atrium, with walls of rich wood and polished granite. The two-story area is flooded with natural light from the glass roof that extends the length of the building and is perfect for informal gatherings, registrations, exhibits, and formal receptions. The Friday Center offers a wide range of flexible meeting spaces. Most meeting rooms offer built-in projection screens, built-in sound and projection systems, lighting systems with touch panel controls, wireless internet access, handicapped accessibility, and direct phone lines from each room to the technology support staff.

DESCRIPTION The Carolina Club, located in the George Watts Hill Alumni Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina, is a member-supported dining club created for alumni, faculty, staff and friends of UNC. Club membership is available to members of UNC’s General Alumni Association who are at least 21. Non-alumna are also welcome to join. The Carolina Club offers private dining in seven different rooms. The private dining rooms are available to members of the Club AND guests of members though sponsorships. The Alumni Hall covering 7,200 square feet including an elevated stage can accommodate up to 1,000 guests (600 seated). It is the largest ballroom space in Chapel Hill. Alumni Hall can be configured into three individual rooms (I, II, & III), each opening onto an outdoor terrace. Alumni Hall I includes a 15 ft. screen, LCD projection and audio system, with speakers located in the base of each chandelier. The Royall Room, Peebles, Dowd and Harris Rooms complete the private dining options.
AMENITIES & SERVICES The Carolina Club prides itself on personalized service and attention to detail. The Sales team assists members and guests throughout the planning process. The Club offers audiovisual equipment in each of its private rooms along with free wireless Internet access. Event parking is available in the Rams Head Parking Deck located next to The Carolina Club. The Sales team can coordinate parking arrangements on a half-day, full day or hourly basis.

DESCRIPTION The North Carolina Botanical Garden has been a leader in native plant conservation and education in the southeastern United States for more than 40 years. The Garden’s mission is to inspire understanding, appreciation, and conservation of plants in gardens and natural areas and to advance a sustainable relationship between people and nature. The Education Center celebrates relationships between humans and nature through the integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. Open breezeways, comfortable porches, natural light in every room, beautiful native plant landscaping, and educational exhibits inform, delight, and invite visitors into the gardens and nature trails. The Reeves Auditorium and seminar/classrooms support the environmental, conservation, and horticultural community of our state and region and offer rental spaces to groups and organizations. The building and surrounding gardens have become a center of learning about the science and enjoyment of plants and nature.
AMENITIES & SERVICES The design of the Education Center sets new standards for environmentally friendly public buildings in our region, and is the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum public building in North Carolina. All programs and events encourage “green” and sustainable practices. The Reeves Auditorium offers a catering prep area for banquet events and built in audio-visual equipment. This venue provides a unique natural setting and is designed for universal access.
