The second of our key thematic pillar programs ‘Strengthening Public Sector Leaders’ provides an innovative shift to the corporate development of GOPNG executive leadership and management capabilities in order to empower each agencies executive teams for improved leadership and management of their agencies through integration of traditional PNG cultural values, behaviors and ethics, with modern global technical processes and principles. Through integrating the ‘PNG Mindset’ and ‘Tribal Spirit’ as called for by PNG’s Founding Fathers, our program empowers GOPNG executives through the program components that instill these attributes through role plays, group work, presentations and other experiential exercises. In this way our innovative approach provides the Committee with more effective and powerful leadership and management conditioning of their executive, enabling improved capability development rather than through traditional course-based training.
