Dear People of God, This Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Christ Church Cathedral will host a virtual coffee hour using Zoom.
Just click on the link in the invitation below to join the meeting. If you’ve never used Zoom, your device might need to download it – just follow the prompts. If you’d prefer to just call in, you can use any of the numbers provided. Enter the meeting ID when prompted. Tips on using Zoom: 1 Don’t use two devices in the same room for the meeting. Annoying feedback will likely be generated. Multiple individuals can view the same screen, of course. 2 If you know how, mute your audio – there will be a prompt on the Zoom screen – when not talking. Remember to unmute when you want to talk. If you aren’t sure how to mute audio, don’t make extra sounds when at the computer. Zoom will focus the conversation based on audio by default. You can change this by setting your view to “Gallery”. 3 You may be asked to allow Zoom to use the camera (video) and microphone (audio). Agree to this. 4 This first go around will likely have some glitches, be patient.
5 If you have announcements for the group, you might want to write them down in advance. You can also type them into the chat window. 6 We will open the meeting a few minutes prior to 12:30. You can join then. If you have any questions, just let me know. Looking forward to sharing this time with you already! Easter blessings, Matt+

service to others Updated Needs from Central Louisville Community Ministries
At Central Louisville Community Ministries, we’re up to our masks in work, and we’re so grateful for all the support and prayers coming our way! The Food Pantry at Calvary Episcopal Church continues to serve record numbers of folks with food, a flower, referrals for other needs, and toilet paper and cleaning supplies when we can get them. We are amazed and grateful for the continued flow of food and funds to ensure our neighbors have enough to eat. We continue to struggle to locate nonperishable food items in quantity. If you are able to contribute canned veggies, soups, canned chicken, Ramen, peanut butter, spaghetti and sauce, hotdogs, bread, or sweets, we need them! One volunteer called her friends, told them the need, and then did porch-pickup from them, which brought us a carload of food! Every can and jar helps! We also need toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and soap to offer.
Donations can be dropped off at Calvary Episcopal Church, 821 S. 4th, at their side door off the parking lot between 9 and 1 MonThurs, or at the CLCM office at First Unitarian between 9 and 3. Across the parking lot in our offices at First Unitarian Church, we’re busy helping people catch up on rent and utilities payments with additional funding that the One Louisville Covid Relief Fund and our partners at LG&E and the Water Company have made possible. We are small but mighty--we were able to disburse over $13,000 in rent and mortgage assistance in the last week and a half!
Call (502) 587-1999 for more information, or if you need or know someone who needs help with utilities, rent, prescriptions, or food.
You can also make a financial contribution through the fundraiser on our [CLCM Facebook Page](https://www.facebook.com/ CentralLouisvilleCommunityMinistries/ posts/3079767855380140). Thank you all! — Linette and the CLCM team
life & fellowship What is on the horizon?
Up to this point during our time apart we have had the solemnity of Holy Week and the joy of Easter Sunday toward which we all have been journeying. Now that we have arrived in the Easter season, we are interested in hearing from you about how we can keep our community connect and journeying together as we continue to practice social distancing.
Please let us know how we can continue to grow in our digital discipleship by emailing our suggestions to frazier@christchurchlouky.org
