LE MODULAR Using the dimensions of the human body, two units were found to construct this form, which can act both as a threshold between spaces and a place of pause.
LE MODULAR The same units, along with two other human based units, were combined to create a concept for an interactive sculptural park, which accomadates all ages and abilities.
MASTERS STUDIO The program of a seasonal masters studio allowed for significant exploration. Stretching my building linearly along the site created the perfect conditions to channel wind through the structure. Turning my tectonic exploration on its side allowed for maximum air flow, which then provided a precedent to carve apertures out of the thick walls and reveal the intricate structure beneath

This project began by reducing the ancient Iranian Kar-Bandi dome structure and analyzing its stregths and weaknesses. Diagrams explore both beauty and function, finally testing the structural language to a breaking point and 3D printing the result.

Marmol Radziner Los Angeles Premier Los Angeles architectural design build firm that specializes in high end custom residential homes. Collaboration on several homes in the Southern California area. Design services for high profile clients, including architecture and visualiza tion. Word Play Cincinnati An after school volunteer program that simulta neously targets iliteracy, and the harmful behavior that arises from excessive free time in northern Cincinnati. Focusing on communication and co operation, it is easy to learn as much as the kids in this commendably innovative family. Alternative Spring Break Mexico A study abroad program run by the YMCA that encourages cultural sharing. In Mexico City and a few surrounding areas they provide the op portunity to connect with children and people with special needs. A host family greatly aids in produc ing a strong knowledge of the Spanish language and the local culture. USAC Chile Chile Study abroad experience in Chile that provided college level courses and ample opportunity to learn Spanish and about the surrounding area. This destination was chosen for its psycological significance as well as it’s climatic diversity, both of which are hugely significant in architecture.
EXPERIENCE Modeling Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, Maya, Sketchup Rendering Photoshop, Illustrator, Vray, Lightroom, Hand Rendering Fabrication 3D Printing, Laser Cutting, CNC Routing, Hand modeling ACHIEVMENTS Governor’s School for the Arts A competative summer program where high school students are given an immersive studio setting in their respective field of interest. After learning directly from practicing architects, all students in the program recieve free instate tuition to every public school in the state as well as many other out of state scholarships. Canstruction Competition This competition, which has participants from many of the major design firms in the Cincinnati area, aims to increase sympathy for the hungry people in the local area. Each team must build a sculpture out of cans which will then be donated to a local food bank. My design was chosen to represent The University of Cincinnati’s College of Design Architecture, Art, and Planning and ended up winning the Spirit Award.
