Module Structure Overview of the EICAA Competence Development Kit

The EICAA Competence Development Kit is based on the EntreComp Framework competences and added by additional competences, if necessary. The modular template structure of the EICAA Competence Development Kit offers a clear useroriented guidance for the design and content side of the activities. Based on the EntreComp areas of EICAA Competence Development Kit the three main competence areas are: 1. Ideas & Opportunities 2. Resources 3. Into Action 1. Ideas and Opportunities consist of 1.1 Spotting opportunities, 1.2 Creativity, 1.3. Vision, 1.4 Valuing ideas, 1.5 Ethical and sustainable thinking and 1.6 Design. Design was added as a competence in addition to the EntreComp framework in the EICAA. 2. Resources consists of the competences 2.1 Entrepreneurial Self-awareness and self-efficacy, 2.2 Motivation and perseverance, 2.3 Mobilizing resources, 2.4 Financial and economic literacy, 2.5. Mobilizing others and an additional 2.6. Digital competence. 3. Into Action includes 3.1 Taking the initiative, 3.2 (Self) Planning and management, 3.3 (Process) Planning and management, 3.4 Coping with uncertainty, ambiguity and risk, 3.5 Working with others and 3.6 Learning through experience. For each competence, a teaching module is assigned. However, through the interdependence of the EntreComp competences, it is possible that provided modules cover additional competences. In 1. Module Overview, the main competence and additionally covered competences are stated in the beginning. The module structure thus has the advantage to be adapted in different formats and curricula, enhancing flexibility. The detailed module structure is explained in the in the following:
