Competent and committed tutors will focus on technical improvement as well as repertoire studies. Singers will be challenged with a strong angle on dramatic expression/ stage awareness as well as general interpretation. Cellists and guitarists will as a complement to their daily solo and ensemble lessons be offered coaching sessions aiming for an optimized focus control during performance situations. Physical wellness is important or even necessary to get the best musical/artistic achievements. Participants will troughout the week be guided by our performance and physiodrama coaches who will help you in groups as well as individual consultations. After breakfast everybody – participants as well as staff members – are invited to the lawn in front of the manor house for a physical warm up session. Our outstanding accompanist will take care of us all during the masterclass. Public concerts in the Manor House and ”Husflidsskolen” (School of Handcraftsship), a very special concert hall in the middle of the woods on the premises of Oremandsgaard, built for its employées in old times. The efforts of the masterclass will culminate here the last evening when we perform a mixed program with solo and ensemble repertoire from the week. Delicious meals will be served three times a day. Accomodation will be in double rooms in the manor house. You don’t have to bring linen or towels - it will be provided. Please bring a music stand, floor protection for cellists, clothes and shoes for morning warm up sessions, bathing suit if you want, nice clothes and shoes for the public concert, music for free time/entertainment.
