History of AmazonIn 1994, Jeffrey P. Bezos realized the World Wide Web was growing more and more every day. Wanting to be part of the internet revolution, he quit his job and started an internet company.

Bezos got the money to start his internet company from his parent’s personal savings.

The name was originally “Cadabra” before a lawyer misheard the name as “cadaver”, thus making Jeff Bezos change the name to Amazon.

Three ways Amazon Innovated-

1. Amazon Started out as an online bookstore, then started selling movies and music.

2. They’ve become a dominant online global market by selling all kinds of products.

The first Zaxby’s was established in Statesboro, Georgia in 1990. It was established by childhood friends Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley. They only serve breakfast and lunch. The restaurant has now become so popular they have grown to more than 395 locations.

An innovation Zaxby’s has is in all their meals they somehow tie in a “Z” to the name of the meals. Since their company name begins with a “Z”. Another one is they started out only serving entrees and now they serve deserts such as milkshakes.

Their logo is also an innovation because it is an original picture that people know them by.
