ZAXBY’S
The first Zaxby’s was established in Statesboro, Georgia, near the Georgia Southern University campus, by childhood friends Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley.
Innovations: Zach put his burgeoning music career on hold, selling his beloved drum set in order to open the first store. Robert Baxley began his career with ZAX in 1992 as a cook at the company’s third location in Valdosta, GA. Blake Bailey has been instrumental in building the financial infrastructure that supports this rapidly growing franchise system.
Designed Innovation: We believe that Zaxby’s should have fish. You should be able to put your desired sauce on the fish or on the side. The fish should be served as a meal which includes fries and a drink.

sold for five cents and then progressed to the current $1.79 Expanded to soda machines outside of Atlanta because of Asa G. Candler Bottles changed from 1800 medicine bottles to present day plastic and aluminum silver soda bottles
Our Innovation Like the current drink machines in fast food chains and other areas where you can choose from over 100,000 flavors of every single drink, we have chosen to create a Coca Cola bottle that does the same thing. With our new “Smart Bottle” you can choose any type of Coca Cola you would like. With our new technology and ideas we have made it where you buy a bottle and options come up and you can choose from all the Coca - Cola flavors you would like. After choosing your flavor it is inserted into the Coca - Cola and you may enjoy!
