the project Not every word has the same power in a discursive World. In a truth regime, in order of discourse, words re-create the reality and empower discourses. When discourse gives meaning to everything and subject can only state in a position in them, the freedom is hard word. So, the users can find themselves are attracted by words which are not constructed by the same discourse. The words and the content of videos are not even the constructed by the same discourse, so people can experience themselves between expectation and witnessing. “They cannot. Represent themselves: they must be represented.” Marx Considering this infamous quote of Marx, this work is not included a teller. The teller can control the discourse, restrict the meaning making process. This is not a told, re-told and change the meaning in every interaction and every teller. So, people can raise their own voices, their own meaning making. By this way, they do not become “object” of a career work, but they take part as a “subject”. What are the essential pieces in the stories of people who immigrated to Erzincan that they carry no matter what? What do they leave behind, they tell their kids and adapt from the new culture? From the most universal part to detailed individual part could be seen through details.

words

The Square movie was a provocative statement about the border of humanity and helping behavior. In the advertisement clip in the movie video saying “how much inhumanity does it take before we access your humanity “ question helping culture of today. The monkey scene, the beggar blonde girl hurting scene all says that if the situation is not that devastating, nobody will not do anything. Accordingly, the world remembers the Gulf war oil spill with the birds that covered with oil. Beside the discourse of refugees in Mediterranean were changed after the photo of a dead small child by the shore. It shows that unless a child, a totally innocent person gets harmed, it is not considered that important. However, these moments captured by the media lead to new ideas “those people are different than us”; “they are in quiet danger that I am not able to help”. And most interestingly those people are reduced to their tragedy in some discourses and their smile and entertainment could be seen as “wrong” or “how possible”. They tend to be thought with always in mourning. And in other discourses they constructed as it is just the same pain everywhere, sounds like ontological guilt. Maybe in contrast to these modernist heritage dreams, this work shows fractions in Daily life side by side. The refugee kids could be seen when they are laughing, because being human is never become only one thing. The local, the native is under the question. The environmental identity which associated with local people of any place can be found in a flowing culture. The famous jobs are under the light this time, the situation could be called “nearly dead city marks.’
