An 'International Style' villa built in 1958 in the centre of Syracuse. The client required an adaptation of the indoor and outdoor spaces, a small expansion of the living room and an additional technical room. The work has maintained the pure architectural language by inserting and replacing the clinker cladding with local sandstone. The expansion is contained within the porch so as not to alter the frame of the main faรงade.

Two summer holiday homes of the 1970s sited in the Natural Reserve of 'Plemmi- rio', a peninsula celebrated by Virgil and facing a Marine Protected Area of Capo Murro di Porco. The objective of this project is the restoration and improvement of the buildings and open spaces. The rebuilding of the wood roof, cork panel insulation, use of solar and photovoltaic panels, rain harvesting system and natural wastewater treatment system (with subsurface wetlands) all contribute to making the most sustainable intervention. Indigenous species will also be planted in continuity and evolution of existing phytoassociations.
