This publication was developed as part of the Youth Participation Parkour project, implemented by Center for Intercultural Dialogue and CIVICUS Youth, together with nine other partners from all around the globe, ranging from grassroot to national organizations, national youth councils to international networks.
The aim of the publication is to give an overview of youth policy, as well to explore the concept of youth policy and the improvements it makes in youth participation. It gives youth workers and youth organizations the know-how on their participation and role within policy development.
The publication also gives specific recommendations and policy proposals, which later can be used by organizations, youth networks and CIVICUS as such.
We want to thank everyone who contributed to the project and to the development of this publication, all the participants of Youth Participation Parkour, our partners and all the relevant stakeholders who contributed with their inputs.
