Induction for New Students Get Familiar with the Syllabus • ‘Learning Outcomes’ are the key themes examined • VERB (at the beginning of each Learning Outcome) are generally found in question requirements • All VERB’s are grouped into five ability levels , they are: Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis and Evaluation. VERBs in question requirements suggests ability level examined. • The study weighting for each topic area is an indication of time allocation for studying and where marks are given in the exams
