CIMA supports HKICS Biennial Corporate Governance Conference 2012 The 8th biennial Corporate Governance Conference: The 21st Century Board – Thoughts and Trends of Corporate Governance, is a conference that has an excellent reputation amongst members, regulators and other professionals throughout the region. NEWS Call for Nominations to the North Asia Regional Board (NARB) and Hong Kong Branch (HKB) The North Asia Regional Board (NARB) is the primary governance structure for CIMA in North Asia. Its formation was agreed and approved by CIMA’s Council at its meeting in July 2011. For the first time members will be elected from the membership base within North Asia to serve on this board. There will be vacancies available in the Hong Kong electorate, mainland China electorate and North Asia electorate for the NARB. Details on how to nominate candidates will be sent to your emails in the coming weeks so please keep an eye out. As a subsidiary body accountable to the NARB, the Hong Kong branch committee will also have seats that need to be elected. The main responsibility of the Hong Kong branch is to advise on how to provide opportunities for members and students to network in furtherance CIMA’s objectives.
