Our Story Did this really begin over 25 years ago? Tony and I are still finding it hard to believe that formulating and producing a herbal supplement for our horse Ryan in the late 1980’s, could have led to the creation of a business that has stood the test of time for over a quarter of a century! During this time we have never underestimated just how lucky we have been, to be able to combine our love of animals, with a determination to bring the highest quality herbal supplements, and natural healthcare products, supported by friendly, informed, helpful advice, to a wider audience of animal and pet owners around the world. As you may imagine, it hasn’t always been plain sailing, and like many small businesses we have had our fair share of challenging, and life changing experiences! A measuring scoop is included in every tub or refill bag of our dry herbal supplements and we advise you to allow at least three weeks for complete absorption.

These products are concentrated, fasteracting, and economical. They are packed in an easy-to-use sturdy plastic bottle with an integrated measuring tank marked from 10–25 ml. A 1L bottle will last a 16.2hh horse up to 33 days based on a dosage of 30mls per day.

An appropriate measuring scoop is included in each of our dry herb mix packs. A full ingredients listing plus directions for use and storage are printed on the back of each pack.

Our Gold products are made from pure herbal tinctures mixed with Apple Cider Vinegar. Some dog owners may prefer to use the liquid format as it is assimilated faster by the dog’s digestive system and so produces a quicker response.

Quantities are related to your dog’s bodyweight and are as follows: 5kgs / 11lbs Half a 2.5ml scoop per day 10kgs / 22lbs 1 x 2.5ml scoop per day 20kgs / 44lbs 2 x 2.5ml scoops per day 30kgs / 66lbs 3 x 2.5ml scoops per day 40kgs / 88lbs 4 x 2.5ml scoops per day. As a rough guide, when fed at 3 level scoops daily, a 125g bag of our proprietary blends will last approximately 6 weeks, however this can vary slightly depending on the mix. Always introduce the herbs to your dog’s food very gradually, building up to the full dosage over a period of several days. Remember herbs are a gentle therapy so allow 2–3 weeks for complete absorption of dried herbs. Note: If possible try and split the daily amount of herbs between two meals. Dogs have a very fast metabolism and by feeding the herbs twice daily the body has a better opportunity to absorb the herbs’ active constituents.

Some customers may like to start on the liquid product and then switch to the equivalent dry mix for longer term use, which can be more economical. Canine Gold liquid products should be added to your dog’s food and, if possible try, and split the daily amount between two feeds. If your dog is very fussy the Gold products can be syringed into your dog’s mouth. Directions for Use Give 4 drops per 1kg (2.2lb) bodyweight twice daily. This means that each 50 ml bottle will last an average size 4kg (10lb) cat 30 days using 16 drops twice daily.

Dry Herbal Formulations Damp surface of corn (you can use one of our liquid products) and add a scoop of the dry product to corn. Mix well to cover corn and feed immediately. Please note that an appropriate size scoop is contained in each of our dry products.

Directions for use: You can give our liquid products by one of the following methods. Method 1 (Shake well before each use) Add 20 drops per 100ml of drinking water (1ml = 20 drops) or Add 10ml to every 1 litre of drinking water. Replenish every time drinking water is renewed or changed.
